That's a good point about damo as well.

I don't particularly care who gets lynched today but it should be between the two claimants. Like I said, they both need to go and neither will ever be cleared in my book. If we agree that it seems like they want darg lynched, then I'll vote to do the opposite, but I can also just follow the leader.

There's more to unpack with xorxes' and Bo's posts than I can reasonably handle on mobile. Will have to get back to you guys on those in an hour or so.

Also neither dargo nor Espresso did anything to defend damo. Espresso even wanted to lynch him. All this in spite of the Tracker knowing that damo's claim, if true, was the doctor. Wanting to lynch a doc claimant is really bad, even if you can't be completely sure yet that their claim was true.

We don't want two large wagons. We want a smallish wagon of three or four people and everyone else voting for themselves.

In my view, this is a slight error in the execution of this plan by Espresso, and it stands out. There was no stated reason for him to be tracking xorxes N2. He townread him.
I had not got to reread Espresso yet. Good catch.

It is possible dargorygel counterclaimed Espresso because Espresso is his cow target. If that is the case, and Chaqa is town, and the mafia have the double vote, the mafia would win if dargorygel gets lynched with Espresso on his wagon.
It doesn't look that way. Dargo had a list of crumbs prepared, how could he know that Espresso was going to claim Tracker if Espresso is town? Also, how likely is it cow!dargo chooses Espresso as his target?

Sorry I can't do much work this weekend but I am keeping up with the thread.

I don't agree with lynching Chaqa, that's a weird backwards bird in hand/two in the bush thing.

I still think darg and EP are most likely both scum. I can't re iso them but based on my previous readings I scumread EP much more heavily so I'd rather start with them.

If there is a small wagon the EOD could be gamed by scum.

I suppose I'm more uncomfortable now because I see the two of you pushing it as scummy at the moment, making me doubt the motivations.

@Bozo: what do you mean? Normally it's a 1-for-1 trade. Lynch one scum, lose one townie to NK. If Tom (or anyone I guess) gets cowed, we lose him as well in addition to the NK.
I took this to mean that if Tom was killed by the cow, we would lose 2 town, Tom and you. Why else mention Tom specifically?
Tom should not be on the lynching wagon, so there should be no reason to worry about that.

Also being highly regimented in how we vote removes our ability to read the voting. I am very skeptical of trying to brute force this.

As small as it can be made safe. Probably a bit larger than three or four. Scum won't all expose themselves trying to game it unless they have a certain win, which they have not been able to coordinate.

That's true. Would you rather we risk the cow?

Or we could have an informal vote where everyone says who they'd vote for, and then arrange the actual vote in consequence. My vote is for dargo.

And as you are around, give me a reason to not shoot you.
Because I am a town role that will be valuable later in the game.
I need the help of the native speakers here.

bozo (and Jamie?) claim that what damo said has a connotation that his role would become active late in the game, and therefore could not be interpreted as including the Tracker as a potential role because N2 is not late enough to count as "later in the game". I read it from the start as including the Tracker, as well as the Doctor and the Watcher, who was not dead yet. Those were the mammals that would be valuable later in the game. I knew it wasn't the Innocent Child because that's me, but everyone else would also have included it. But maybe it's because I'm not a native speaker.

So, native speakers, did damo exclude the Tracker in that claim, or would only someone who knew he couldn't be the Tracker exclude that possibility?

Ahhh right. I got all revved up by all the mylo/lylo talk in the past few pages.

@bo, are you not going to claim your role? I think you're next on the list that Tom gave.

I don't think damo's words excluded tracker if this was D1.

@xorxes - I mean, mainly because I'm a lazy player regardless, and I like to read less posts. Nothing irks me more than lots of short posts with a dozen back and forth discussions I have to track.
I was just making a statement about not liking all the quotes and short discussions. Not really meant as anything.
