Yesterday Trump tweeted this:

"I went from VERY successful businessman, to top T.V. Star, to President of the United States (on my first try). I think that would qualify as not smart, but genius... and a very stable genius at that!"

Donald Trump ran for president in 2000.

He can't even remember how many times he has run for president.

The guy's gone senile.

You could make a convincing argument that running for President as leader of the Reform Party doesn't actually count as trying, in much the same way that jogging around London in a rhino costume doesn't really count as trying to win the London Marathon.

I take it you assume that Trump actually writes all those tweets?

Yes I imagine he probably does write them himself.

Certainly they are not written by anyone official in the administration - as the content of the tweets often takes the officials by surprise.

yeah he never ran for President on a Major Party Platform and he didn't really compete at all in 2000. I think he was on the reform ballot for like one primary. Nice try Jamiet.

ND what does "major party platform" have to do with it?

In 2000, Donald Trump tried to run for president - and then withdrew. His (successful) attempt to win the presidency in 2016 was his second attempt.

These are simple facts that you cannot deny. They are the truth. These things happened.

You wanna know how I became so fat?

Every time I hear Donald Trump telling a lie, I eat a biscuit.

jamie, to be fair that was when Trump was Pro-Choice, Pro-Gun Control, Pro Universal Healthcare. he has since adjusted his positions so he can look like a Republican.

Yeah the reform party doesn't really count. I am pretty sure they entered his name into it, he never campaigned for it, and was only listed on like one primary ballot. So, no that doesn't count.

Anti trump commentary from those who haven't amounted to much is really not commentary at all, ND.

It seems like there is always some kind of anti-trump commentary popping up and then it's so easily discredited lol. Always funny to see what these hardline leftists come up with next!

They are desperate and see their world coming apart as is is overdue to unravel. In 1989 we defeated communism. Perhaps in 2019 we can defeat socialism and the liberal agenda.

I say we defeated it in 2016, but we need to continue defeating this every time it pops up. I understand classical liberalism which really gave birth to constitutional values and natural law. That's great. But, modern liberalism isn't liberalism at all. It's Marxism. Marxism is an evil ideology which must be defeated and ridiculed.
