but that feels very unlikely. was anybody telegraphing their role to the point that a scum sniper would make a shot other than the mice? why would a scum sniper risk the kp for the possibility of taking out a good role rather than take a guaranteed shot on a town and help get the poison?

As I said at the time I got the distinct vibe that you vs D&W was Town v Town.
In fact, that's the reason I voted for you for a short time, to see if it would prompt anyone to move. After my vote there were no further votes for around 50 minutes so if anything my view that it was T v T was intensified. At the very end, a Glitter wagon emerged and, since (a) I townread Mimi, and (b) I was inclined to dislike both of the existing wagons, and (c), I didn't want a tie, I joined that wagon.
