If I’d lied about a different role I didn’t have, 1) might have started a CC issue but more importantly would have narrowed his target.

I’m guessing he gambled that I was the third mouse.

Mr. Bomb's rule changes for this game are giving me a headache. So you're guessing that a witch sniper wanted to take you out BEFORE the yeet of Will as a mouse?

I have a very high opinion of him as a player. Except he and I usually have trouble aligning as town. I think he does things that are unconsidered (read: bad) with mechs; he finds me condescending.

My low opinion of his ability to think through mechs and implications is part of why we've had trouble aligning; I shot him as an unCC'd PR because I thought his claim was impossibly dumb and couldn't be real.

If you reread his stuff, you can see he was trying to take a shot at me all game, and I didn't want to give him any insight to do it. I was hoping he'd not just gamble on my role...but what can you do?

Yeah, I picked up on that much when I was rereading overnight...but wow,at just picking a role out of a hat like that.

You said you have a new job and are busy. I'm not discounting your other stuff, but you reacted very strongly to some posts like that and I'm trying to read the person (like understanding Jamie is playing on his phone which is unusual for him and leading to his reading comprehension change).

I said I was adjusting to being a new boss and that was why I hadn’t engaged a lot in the beginning. I more than carried my weight yesterday. Did I miss something, clearly. But that’s also why I asked. I thought the sniper claim was legit. I did not associate it as a scum sniper claim.

I also was pretty sure Bona was the sniper despite his pinky promise. Hence me not wanting to claim anything that would give him a hint (or WIFOM of a hint) about my role.

midway through day 1 i decided that the most likely scenario was that yavu was likely scum trying to get the third, then unclaimed mouse the poison. i took a pot shot at who i believed that third mouse was, as i did not plan on asking. it was extremely funny, therefore, that mimi volunteered this information immediately after i submitted the shot

my theory that the third mouse was scum was correct (and incidentally i was already voting them without knowing it), and i have no regrets about my course of action. i fully believe yavu is scum because of this.

trading 1 for 1 in exchange for getting the poision means an unrevealed second scum mouse gets poison, making it a two town for one scum exchange. net effect is pro scum. mimi revealed the third mouse though, so the plan failed

concept: yavu scum, will scum, mimi town. all mice

if two mice die, then the third gets to kill another

if one mouse kamikazes into another instantly, they can likely force both dying in order to get the third the poison. yavu does this onto mimi, but it goes wrong and the third mouse is outed and killed, and revealed to be scum
