M1036 Flipless Coven Hunt I Game Thread

I have a vague memory that in his first ever scum game he was like a total deer-in-the-headlights when he was being made a wagon. I want to find and review that.

That feels very much to me like scum!will feeling defeated, rather than necessarily being scum with Yavuzovic...

The fact he didn't vote at all leads me to think we should read nothing into no self pres. He was probably distracted and unable to post.

ok so for low posters yesterday I see chomps, me, yavuzovic, jamie (this is by words, not by posts), will and damo
damo seems towny except for a vote history that is mostly bandwagoning
will is dead and probably scum
I have no idea what jamie is up to, and that slot is always hard to read so I'm putting a light scumread on that for now
yavuzovic is the most likely scummate for will and has a lot of low-effort posts
chomps is... the gravedigger? but also has like no opinions on anything other than bandwagoning("it sounds fun, ima do it")

How does that mean I am scum? Yeah I first voted for Mimi but I didn't show any resistance to revealing the third mouse and vote for him. If I let myself die, Just would get towncred. Or does this also mean 3 blind mice are all three blind witches?

i conceptualize your actions as trying to set up a 1-1 with mimi with the result of scum will getting the extra kill, so making it a secret 2-1

THANK YOU! He was actually back about 45 minutes before EOD. I called him out on the no vote, partly to make sure he was aware and partly to see what he'd say when I did. He very clearly knew he needed to vote. He was "catching up" and even told me that him voting late was NAI, but I think not voting at all very much is. SO dismissing it is wild to me.

VERY scummy!!!!!! It very much came across as "vote my way, I'm right on this, but I can't tell you why"

So maybe the argument could be made that in what world would a true mafia do that? "Vote with me because I say so" doesn't exactly hold a lot of weight in a game of secrets and deceit. That perspective makes me maybe see the earnestness you're pointing to. MAYBE....

The only downside I can think of is if Judge picked a non-Will scum. Pretty unlikely.

I guess we can all but guarantee Judge is town for if Judge were scum ut would have been madness not to tie it.

I maintain it was a mistake/accident, deliberately not voting makes zero sense.

I think he had real life distractions and we shouldn’t read too much into it.

I don't know how you can make that argument.... he had 45 minutes where he was present and could have put together SOME sort of reasonable conclusions. Heck I've seen plenty of people put together unreasonable conclusions and at least still vote. And when the vote means saving YOURSELF???? Real life distractions is not cutting it for me as an excuse.

How does it not? I mean only he truly knows, but his only vote that would have done something would have put Yavu at risk and left their fate to a judge. If the judge was scummy or Yavu was innocent, wouldn't he try for the tie?

He didn’t flip, nobody does. Hence why the game is called flipless….

We are dependent on the claim of gravedigger (so far Chomps, tho Yavu also claimed it but I took that as a joke) who says Will was scum.

IMO, just the act of not voting alone seems to be a pretty major tell to me.
