Is revealing one mouse (and hence two) but concealing the third AI?
I think the technical term is "sketchy af."
Sadly I both agree.

And townread him for it.

The post that gives me pause is where he hesitated in public.

Well…I sadly now think the mice are all town. So this isn’t going great.

The good news is, my D1 reads aren’t awesome. And the gravedigger will learn 2 death alignments if the sniper takes a shot.

I have a pretty packed day today and my kid has a doctors appointment right at EOD, so I don’t know how checked in I’ll be.

It looks like I have some catching up to do.

They don’t have a chat and it only takes one to decide to.

Yavu named Mimi as the other mouse he found most scummy.

Dano and Butter declared yavu scummier for doing this.

I think both are towny, and that yavu goofed on a reasonable gambit.

Umm.

Maybe Mimi should have some input here? Presumably she thinks the mice are all town?

You said scum Jamie is calmer than town Jamie and now you are turning it around

Which did you mean?

Or was it a series of nested Russian doll style reaction tests?

She thought my interaction with Will was weird, and it was, but not because we're a pairing, but there's no way for her to know that. She questioned about the statement that players in this particular build will need to be willing to lie. She seems to be coming from a place of--I guess the term would be "open awareness" like she's paying very fine tuned attention to the thread but letting the thread talk to her instead of her putting her voice into the thread. It feels like she's looking for people to trust and mistrust.
two things:
1. i haven't really paid much attention to the thread yet outside of that one interaction with will

2. i still don't get why lying is necessary here? you seem to get it so pls explain
I don't ENTIRELY agree with that as a blanket statement, but yes, in a game where roles give zero alignment information, hiding your role from the wolfpack (t least at the BEGINNING) is more important than usual. Witches will know which roles are village aligned and it allows them to plan optimally, but doesn't clear you to fellow villagers. We can't even accept what you said as factual when you die unless you die at night--which PROBABLY but not DEFINITELY means you a villager or unless a village aligned Gravedigger gets your reveal.

It's a great game build for finding witches by trying to manipulate vs "solve by power and follow the information roles" but the rate at which information gets out is important. There is no angel, for example, until a village player dies. Once we know definitively that has happened, we can play a bit more openly.
Just a point of order:
Concealing information is not the same as lying.

Problem is if Yavu is scum mouse this is a great strategy. I for one won't be following..
Why is this a great strategy? Mouse is the most useless of all roles. Randomly picking a person outside the mice is a better strategy for the scum.
To gain poison. I agree probably better to vote within mice.

##vote yavu

PS you can have Liverpool

Would you support a massclaim? Then everyone’s roles are out in the open and we can just play mafia and the sniper becomes a vig (which is good if they’re town).

The mice already know each other. And odds are at least one is scum so the whole scum team knows.

If scum is apprentice, they know another that way and can even try to get their choice killed quickly to take the power from town.

If they have a different investigative role, they’ll learn more roles that way.
Bunny advocating for a massclaim on D1?

Eep.
