First solo against bots, any tips?

Hi, I'm a new player. I've finally won a game against bots. Are there any simple tips/stragies I should have used or tactics I missed?

Really solid play; your decision to invest into fleets early on clearly payed off.

One thing I would point out is that you left yourself fairly vulnerable to a Russian attack from the east. Obviously that threat never materialized, but had the Russian bot attacked you definitely could’ve had Sweden and Berlin at risk.

Thanks! I was worried about a Russian invasion too, but because they didn't attack me at the start, I figured they were busy in the south, and I kind of just hoped for the best
