Please provide a detailed explanation as to how you have concluded that Sweetandcool is not a member of the Mafia. In particular, persuade me, if you can, that Bonatogether's quite detailed case (which you have thus far not discussed at all) is poorly founded, or manifestly incorrect.

Saying this here, I actually find it quite odd that Damo immediately batted back a one-line "sweet aint scum", during a phase in which Damo has posted 42 times yet not discussed Sweetandcool at all, not even a little bit, despite Bona making a big push on Sweet, and despite at least some others also appearing to scumread Sweet. Distancing, perhaps?

If you need to re-read, what was the basis for your strong conviction that Sweet is not scum?

I don't feel great about this vote, but I feel solid about it. I'd say that brainbomb was mostly pushing Sparta and to a bit lesser extent Vecna when brainbomb was night killed. Now, I think the brainbomb/Dr F slot was also near the top of the towniest town list, and was very unlikely to be miskilled, so it's not a perfect process to assume that brainbomb was on the right track. But if brainbomb was totally on the wrong track, I think he's quite a bit less likely to be the N1 kill.

Spartacus is still in the process of elimination. Nothing about his Day 1 took him out of that, certainly, so I think he is a good person to chop today.

Yeah, he is very much in my process of elimination. He is one of the folks I'd want to chop soonish. If he's Town, he ought to be showing us quite a bit more than this.

Can you elaborate on your expectations for town!sparta vs scum!sparta?

I think that post shows someone willing to be open with their thought process and unconcerned with looking good. Savvy scum could fake it, sure, but in a vacuum, I think it's town points.

As for the more general question, I don't really know Sparta well enough to have a template. He either obvtowns or he doesn't, which he hasn't do far. I'm not bothered by his play the way you are.

Ah…I forgot about the miller.

But your first process is correct: worst case for town is of cop is in the Just wagon. Then they clear another player with a TOWN scan (say Vecna).


We now have 8 clears and 7 unknown. Best scum can do is eliminate a clear at night. And town wins the race eliminating in the unknown pool.


If cop gets a SCUM scan…it’s less good. But since I’m the Miller, that’s not possible if they scan outside the Just wagon.

I'm not sure what to make of the dramatic bee-related mishap earlier, but I wonder if the bees gift to damo was intended to be used on me. (foodcoats voted for me in the previous round, and I voted for damo; foodcoats being happy with damo using the bees on me seems like a logical outcome.)
