Mafia 86: Accidents Happen... - Game Thread

If foodcoats is town, there is likely one mafia voting for me and one voting for Hamilton, because I suspect myself vs. Hamilton is what the mafia want to see. I think damo and dargorygel are probably town, so that leaves one of Vecna/BunnyGo and one of ghug/Chaqa. I think I am back to BunnyGo/ghug as the most likely remaining mafia.

Yeah this vote at 5 minutes to go does look like something scum would do to see if they can save their godfather. Damo and Vecna look good in the votes on either side of this one. There was no other scum to come help or the scum were already on Bunny or were bozo or brain off on their vanity wagons.

You are probably my #1 most likely busser, but Vecna could possibly have bussed.

I don't think I should qualify to be a busser as I didn't want to vote Sweet. I was voting to protect Bunny. You should be questioning why I would protect Bunny when Sweet was godfather.

More pointedly, if I was scum with Sweet, would it not have made sense for me to establish more of a town read on him so I would not be forced to vote him against my read on Bunny?

Basically, I think any chance I'm mafia existed with me being Bunny's teammate, but that would only work if Sweet had not been the Godfather. Since he was, it doesn't really make any sense for me to be scum.

That was M84, but in M83, Just was voting for sweetandcool when sweetandcool was shot D1, and ghug had also suspected sweetandcool. However, Just and ghug seem rather confident in their ability to identify sweetandcool as mafia based on D1 of M83, and that have yet to respond to my request to identify the criteria they are using to identify scum sweetandcool.

I think that slightly undersells my suspicion of sweet in that game. I came out of his shooting looking so good that his teammate shot me later in the day.

But anyway, it's really just vibes. He said something that felt slimy and fake, which is the same thing he did in M83 and the same thing I probably overindexed on when I bussed him in M84. I responded to the post that pinged me this game, though he hasn't done much of anything since.

Does scumghug really say this about a GF teammate? I don't think so.

How much of our reads is based simply on the original ( qhich i agreed with) premise that scum would have stayed off GF?

There's a faur bit of townie behavior among that list. Bozo, for instance has wo strikes... that list, and some abence. But he has neen town Bozo the whole time. Even when hecis blind and robo.

Ghug's performance has declined from beginning to end. The biggeat moment though was keeping the shenanigans hoing beyond what town ghug would do.

Do you think that's beyond what ghug would do? I think ghug and brain would extend the entire thing until the EOD. I think it's a reaction test and food got caught up in it. Does it size up as town-influenced or mafia-influenced is the question. You're seeing it as more mafia-influenced?

What's the timetable on town rolling with that play? Is there a sensible endpoint?

i was excluded from being a sweet and cool busser. This is good to know- mainly in that I am somehow credited with helping kill sweet despite calling him town up to the end and only briefly ever saying he could be scum
