Good night fellow townies and some evil rebels.

Why we are at 10 pages in 2 hours? I already told my chat partner that I will try to play interacting more and less catching up so I might skip some pages....
A majority of players decided I said some wrong math and then melted down. That’s like 50% of that

if its scummy to out your chat partner

scumhunt instead

if its scummy to not mass claim

also just scumhunt

there.

thank you for listening
I present you ghug, who is behaving/encouraging value in dead players when he has notoriously dismissed reads of dead players because they are just as likely to be wrong as live players.

Otherwise, s&c is chiming in a little bit and aaro is being defensive about it with little explanation for his reasoning as to why as if it’s the sacred cow of the game.

No opinion on Kak

Town!lean on you BB

I didn't got the Math (I am still on page 4). But I will assume you are right just because of the Bayes comment.

Ghug - similar question to you: why is claiming something you’re now against?
1. We can always claim later, and there are ghosts for confirmation purposes.
2. Scum have to play around the fact that none of them are partnered. Not knowing which town are partnered with each other makes that harder.
Both of these are poop answers to me.

The first assumes that a ghost will stay in ‘purgatory’ to communicate all game and not go to the GT. Sure, the ghost can leave something behind to help confirm something but it’s not like the information is completely accessible to all and cannot be employed to confirm in a timely manner. And all they can confirm is if the scum decide to get ballsy and claim fake partners later, which can be mitigated now.

Second is hilarious to see from you because it implies scum care significantly about killing in pairs when most likely they are just going to kill obv!town players and people who are actually trying.

Bonus points: I find it interesting to see you putting some value into the ghost mechanic as someone who has typically put little value in the opinions of a dead player because they are just as likely to be wrong about the game as a live player.
I think killing like normal is probably what scum will do, but I see minimal value to town in having all the info out immediately, and there are scenarios where scum can screw themselves with deaths in the wrong pairings.

Opinions and mechanical information are different.

What makes you assume anything about why I townread them other than that I just townread them?
Either it is a sad and unlikely coincidence, or you are town reading anyone who supports an anti-town agenda.

Your manner, supports the latter case.
What if I told you that I'm also townreading anyone supporting an anti-town agenda?
Something is weird on this post. Who do you townread?

Just out of my council meeting, popping in to say hello.

This theme kind of rankles me, being more of the persuasion of the Republic of Ireland. However, I'll play nice and put on my best Royalist hat.

They breed like rabbits and multiply like vermin, is all I've got to say right now.

Off to bed but will attempt to read the previous 11 pages!

Tootles.

Ugh, fuck it - my vote isn’t moving this phase.

##end

D1 me again if you want - but ghug’s opinion so far is polar opposite of his normal stance on dead player information.

I just don't have a read on you yet. I like that you're pushing us to mech talk and I like the non-me reads, but I don't understand where you're coming from on the specifics of those reads and the things I like are super easy to take.

Fair about Worcej, he is solid town. But I don't think he is playing anti-town. Kak needs to change his scum game somehow so I don't give him a pass yet.

Other first impressions after catching up.

I think Brain is likely town, I can follow his thoughts.

I thought you were probably town after your claim right at start but scum have pre-game chat and I felt something weird with you first provoking then agreeing with Brain.

I also have a good feeling about Chaqa, can't explain why.
