In seriousness, my best bet is either that they weren't that worried about one time investigative actions, either because odds are low in general or because Fox was using a non-visiting action and they were ninjaing or having whoever jailed brain kill, or they figured you'd either be commuting if you were the navigator or jailed by the navigator if you weren't.

The brain jailing is baffling to me, though. I don't know how you don't know Eden's the real PR there unless nobody's online for the last several hours. I'm also not particularly inclined to leave PRs alive ever and am more than happy to lose an early NK trying, which I think you should remember from that game where we were the last two scum.

I agree with the last paragraph except I know you think low of my ability and would entertain the option of not using anything on me.

You don't have to have good reads to harm scum with a scan or a shot, you just have to get lucky.

But you do take chances and implying you wouldn't doesn't move my needle any.

It's the mob mentality, ghug. If we don't supply a (more) than plausible explanation, can't fully explain Mafia actions, and not supply a guilty target, then it seems unlikely they change their minds. The mob wants blood and they want and easy decision.

I am saying Jamie's suspicious repeatedly and loudly, so I'm not sure what you're talking about there. I also gave a fuller opinion on the game state earlier today. This is just not an accurate depiction of what's happening.

I really don't give a shit what you're tired of, buddy. Anything's possible. There could have been no kill last night because they decided to holster. Dousing could be the navigator who forgot to read his role PM. What we're discussing here is likelihood, and if you think the most likely story is the one where I'm scum, fine, but you need to carefully consider whether the other nights make sense in that story, and stop acting like it's my job to read scum's minds.

Okay, kicking it all off with a comment:

Last game, throughout the game, several people kept claiming that Mafia would take no extra powers or possibly one. Mafia ended up taking two powers and the assumption that they never would "play poorly enough" doomed Town from the start.

This was frustrating because I actually thought the whole game that taking 2 powers made a ton of sense and that concluding Mafia wouldn't take more was crazy.

But since ya'll are so experienced, I went with the crowd. And the crowd was miserably wrong.

Now in this game, the crowd of experienced players think N1 was impossible unless ghug was RB Mafia. N1 was stupid Mafia, you all say. And perhaps what we saw would be considered poor play if not for our RB of scum ghug.

Well, you all might think of it as poor play, especially given the result after N1, but I say that's besides the point. If ghug is not Mafia, which I hope to convince you of, then there must be a reason for their play. I think Fox and X are capable players, and they are capable of playing the way we witnessed on N1.

In summary, don't chalk up N1 as either poor play for Mafia or RB ghug.
