Ribeye, 2 minute sear on cast iron on high heat and flipped. Homemade compound butter, garlic, salt, black pepper. Finished for 2.5 minutes at 500 degrees in the oven. Topped with rosemary, basil, and a basic prime rib dash. Comes out rare internally (medium rare takes 4 minutes in the oven) and crusted like candy on the outside, but not dried out.

I always add a couple sunny side up eggs and a southwest style salad. Keto taught me that potatoes and steak are not as friendly of a combo as you think.
Is the implication here that steak and potatoes is a bad combo because there are carbs involved?
No, carbs can be good for you and carb cycling is arguably the best lifelong diet you can practice from a health standpoint. But a high carb, starchy food to go with a very fatty food is a pretty unhealthy combination if you’re not trying to quickly gain weight by storing new fat. If you’re gonna eat a high carb meal it is generally better to keep it low in fats.
Ok fine that's a nuanced and fair take I supposed.

I just eat beans all the time.

Is there some kind of order of operations list for night actions?

What I really want to know is this: if I am Civil War Veteran, should I just claim? Can Mafia actually kill me? Hard for me to tell how Hooker etc interact with that role without an order of night operations. Maybe there is just a Webdip standard that applies?
There was an "order of night actions" in the sign-up thread, but it does not seem to mention the veteran, so I assume the veteran falls under "all other night gunshots".

I think there are three things to consider here:
1. The tough guy is a hard counter and can just kill you if they exist.
2. Mafia will fear visiting everyone if there's unknown potential for a vet.
3. Getting visited by a townie would be bad.
I do not understand #1, unless you meant strongman.

Presumably the tough guy can perform the kill and absorb the shot that comes with the visit?

OK, I see what you mean now, I don't think I was interpreting the veteran correctly. I think we need more information about "role interactions" pertaining to the veteran.

Just checked to see if sherif had been an option of a power. Seems it’s just flavor?
##vote BunnyGo

Fake question. Reminds me of this D1 wolf post in a game I observed.

Let’s play.
Oh fun this started.

Don't think that one is scummy, seems like a legit question to me
Nice job last game, you and damo had me fooled until Kakarroto made it obvious he was town.

Who shot the Sheriff?
Eric Clapton?
but he did not shoot the deputy
Nice win in M1023, you did a good job pocketing me D3. Did you plan during N2 for you and lfischl to claim the doctor scan if it was successful?

I wonder what the game thread learns by way of flavor if there is a gunshot, but the target is not killed. And if Hooker visits War Vet, does hooker die or does the RB work?

Is there some place I can read to know how these rules will be enforced?
I'd imagine we won't hear of a gunshot, and that the vet can't be hooked, but a ##CALLGM would give a definitive answer.
GM NOTES

Howdy, pardners.

1. If a gunshot is fired during the day, the "A SHOT RINGS OUT" message will be posted even if there is no death.

2. The Civil War Veteran's reflexive blasting is not an "action" so it cannot be Roleblocked. The Hooker would die in the situation you mention.

I hope this is of assistance, y'all.

They're prescription painkillers, so it comes down to whether you're asking an existential question or a quality of high question, and then it comes down to a bunch of other things.
In my 20’s I would crush hydro’s up and put them in beer and just do nothing for hours.

I guess, to be semi-human, I hope your need for painkillers is not due to something incredibly significant.
There's a growing part of me that wants to try that shit and I need to finish them before that part of me wins.

Just got my wisdom teeth out, nothing too severe.
Man, percosets were my pleasure when I had mine out. Got all 4 done; wasn't yet 30 but close. One was stuck in sideways and NEEDED to go. Figured, why stop at one, especially when benefits would cover. But those percs...oh my. They were good.

Good quick healing to you!
