I definitely think Byz/snowy might be scum. And Chaqa is town. (but if I'm NKed, assume I changed my mind) Those are the only stances I'm willing to commit to.

Most sites are 12 or 24 hour nights lately. Only mafia scum is 48 hours. Because they are weirdos.

Still don't get how this is equal as saying that everybody sucks.

And if I just want to avoid being involved I could have just disappeared, I was really trying to avoid a close EOD to avoid a tie, but the votes started to swap around and I just can't see who was in the lead.

About driving I was hoping to get home before EOD but it took a bit longer, I just say that I was driving because Vecna said I wasn't defending Damo.

Anyway I really do hate that we chat during the night. I used to like it before I tried out other sites. I dunno I have been converted. Night time should be used to have breaking from the game and to reflect on it.

I think this is why we have the whole midgame apathy issue because no one takes a mental break from the game.

Can you point to some examples of what you mean? Because I only see a pretty normal statement of an early townread from celaph RE: Byz. Your framing strikes me as overstated.

I quoted 3 of the first 10 posts that were very defensive of Byz early that wasn't all of them.

Don’t play like you don’t clearly understand the demeaning effect of referring to it as a “tunnel,” which is very commonly understood to be an irrational, ill-founded push that ignores exonerating evidence.

I am calling it out because I am starting to notice a pattern of overstatement from Neon that obscures precisely what is happening. It could just be a tendency among young people to exaggerate for effect, but it is also plausibly explained by having an agenda to frame certain behavior in misleading ways. Neon seems like a generally very affable and helpful sort and has unambiguously town cleared Rumi, so it is rather incongruent with my personal impression of her that she would be needlessly dismissive of Rumi’s attempts to work out the game.

First off. Remember what I was saying about deescalation? This isn't that. If you aren't mafia, then you shouldn't want us to be arguing and fighting like this.

Second. I clearly said "could be". I deliberately avoided using the word "is" because Is would be a definitive declaration and that is not one of the stances I commit to.
