Why doesn't it prove anything? My discord account is connected to my twitch channel. If I go live on twitch and film shutting down the discord account knwon to be connected to me, that theretically proves I can't be scum.

I’m on mobile so can’t explain as well as I’d like, but basically, our rules prohibit taking actions which appear to prove your alignment mechanically that involve outside knowledge, such as apparently deleting all your Discord accounts, screenshotting your role PM, etc. Past experience has shown that allowing these tactics just devolves the game into a test of how cleverly the mafia can technologically spoof their proof of innocence and how adept the town is at detecting a technological lie, rather than focusing on the core interplay between town and mafia in the game thread.

Well, no one has previously attempted specifically filming themselves deleting their Discord account, but we have had people screenshot their role PM, and I’m sure there’s other exploits I’ve forgotten. We kind of all collectively realize that there’s a core conceit regarding the antiquated practice of using DMs and an honor system to establish teams in the game, so instead of trying to legislate individual instances of technological exploits on the system, we have a general “spirit of the game” principle where we all agree we’re here to play a social deduction game and not a “spot the exploit” game.

Plus, deleting your Discord account is presumably much costlier than whatever happens in this game, so I don’t advise it irrespective of the above

I feel like everyone still thinks I'm a shitty player even tho I have changed a lot and idk I just feel like I'm never going to not be looked at the person who sandbagged and what not even tho I have taken steps to find a playstyle I enjoy and excel in.
