When they added another player, they gave mafia a factional roleblock. People are only told they were blocked if they were taking an action (so giving or using an item).

Was the roleblocker a player assigned role before?

No. There was no roleblocker in the original setup.

Also, I still think you were faking a townslip. So I think you're scummy, but I'm also not going to tunnel on you for the rest of the game for one comment you made in the first 30 minutes of the game.

Regarding TFB's "townslip" I think it's very likely NAI. I can't imagine that scum TFB would think that he would get any town credit for something so trivial and easily faked so I think it's more likely he was playing for +1s regardless of alignment.

I agree that in some platonic ideal of a world that almost nothing is truly NAI (I think Kak's opening posts are). In this case in particular, I think that TFB is about equally motivated to make that post as either alignment and I didn't get any bad vibes from it.

I'm also a little sad to see aaro say he's going to drop it because it was the only thing worth seriously talking about so far.

I do appreciate you think I was playing for +1s (feel free to give me more +1s as I do like them), but I genuinely did think the only deviation from a vanilla set up was the itemsmith replacing doc/cop given that I had extensive pre game conversations with ghug and Eden about what a good set up was and what a bad set up was and how power roles should behave and how mafia in general should work.

Everything but the day chat aligned with those pre game talks. Therefore the only thing I heavily looked at was the one thing foreign to be: the itemsmith.

I continue to maintain my strong disagreements with ghug and Eden about the virtue of a factional roleblock vs a mafia aligned roleblocker role but that they decided to insert a factional RB is hardly surprising to me given those discussions.

Tl;Dr I do agree I shouldn't get much if any town points for it as it's easily faked and meaningless but it was a genuine belief that this would be a largely vanilla set up with minor differences.

That being said, I think Celaph's posts seem reasonably good vs what I saw last game as his partner so I think I'm good to pull off there. Rdr's seemingly intentionally fake vote plus one post and gone behavior reminds me of ghug last game so ##VOTE rdr.
