back in the olden days, about a year before starting mafia here, I played a game with my IRL group at the time that had this exact mechanic.

I got elected day 1 and we literally killed mafia every single day until we won.

just saying…

If you add the modifier that the elected person gets it wrong, they die themselves, I'm in.

In fact... unique rule twist for a future game...

but what if a mafia gets elected

Then they have to kill a teammate.

I don’t see that I’ve been inconsistent at all.

27 mins to go, I have a choice between TFB, Celaph, Chaqa and Kak. I’m town reading Celaph and Chaqa’s only -ve point is he wanted Celaph dead but that’s not really alignment indicative. So I was left choosing TFB over Kak, (who I’d already said I wouldn’t vote for easily). So TFB was best of bad choices.

Few minutes to go the two lead wagons were Celaph and Kak. As I town read Celaph, Kak was the only other choice unless someone got flash wagoned.

Your vote at EoD-9, took it from 5-5-4 with TFB as the 4 to 6-5-3.

YOU are the one that started killing your own wagon.

I can see this, but I don't think it's fair to put the killing of the TFB wagon on Maniac. By the time he voted, no one had put a vote on TFB since Chaqa tooks his off 20 minutes earlier. It also certainly didn't feel like, as someone who was catching up, that TFB's name was in the picture to anywhere near the level of mine or Kak's.

I see there are is a wagon on Maniac and a quick scan suggests that it's all the same reasons as before. I think his explanation on not voting Chaqa makes sense in context of someone who was having fun D1 and wanted to defend his townread in me. Also liked his other comments on people both from D1 and today.

Sure. Snowy's a perfectly plausible kill for a scum ghug.

and for Jamie as well. Jamie wouldnt kill weak players either

Agree. Kill good players or good PR candidates first. I suck at finding PRs so good players all the way.

The only thing that could be said is that Snowy is a likely save on N1, but with the current self save meta, it´s a weak reason for not going for him.

if maniac is scum then to me it makes his arbitrary town read on celaph highly unlikely to be a scum partner because i feel like scum dont townread their teammates that often

I think that vibes wise Maniac felt comfortable. All his posts describe me as a someone he wants to keep alive and feels good with, not necessarily someone he sees contributing productively.
