Re: Mafia XXXIV Game Thread - Who Framed Roger Rabbit?

#461 Post by DemonRHK » Sun Jan 28, 2018 9:53 pm

I've had some suspicions on Jamie related to brain already, his normal Jamie v Brain seems more forced than usual from Jamie's side.

It's less 'Fuck brain he's spammy scum' like I'm used to and more 'Brain needs to shut the hell up before he incites a slip'

Balki's points are solid. But until he shows up I'm remaining on Tom.

I won't lynch Brain or ND, and I'm now leaning no on Balki. Tom, Jamie, and Bozo I'm all fine with.

Okay Balki.

##Vote Jamiet99uk
Really? That's it?

I'm not sure what to make of you brainbomb. At page 10 you said that you can't read me. Though, I don't think that's true at all -- you've caught me red-handed as scum before. I think that was a last game I've played on this site.

Then on page 15 you start suspecting I am scum, and you say that you would be willing to lynch me. Between page 10 and page 15, I made 0 posts. I was taking the Little Balkis to a play and I was completely absent.

Now you've changed your view on me because I voted Jamiet in an exchange I had with him this morning? I really don't understand why that is a compelling factor.

I like your vote on Jamiet, but I don't understand where you're coming from. Can you please explain?

I agree. Jamiet has seemed more uninterested than I'm used to him being. I could get on board with a Jamiet wagon.

I still find Rjmcf off. Reedeer as well but I don't think he's a good D1 lynch. I'm still waiting for those reads he promised earlier.

@RHK can you explain the Tom vote? I don't get it.

I gotta run.

Where's Darg?

I'd lynch Jamiet, Darg, Brainbomb.

A Vashta lynch would be okay too, basically for Snowy's reasons.

Pressure vote. He's done nothing since his push on me, and his silence does nothing for him or to help us. He anchored and as long as I don't get lynched he doesn't look bad down the road and it's harder to track voting patterns.

The fact you want to try to understand me without bias is compelling. Youve approached most people youve question from a base of wanting to understand them. Thats fairly hard to do as scum. Curiousity is hard to fake. I see you questioning people, I just thought you werent trying hard to get your concerns answered. But maybe its not actually you with the problem at all.

Jamie disappeared after you voted him.

Thats bad on his part. Also yer up for lynch but still reading people and pushing the wagon you believe. I dunno.

Some alright things here

Do you feel like darg sufficiently responded to your questioning?

I think it isn't entirely useless to have a guy promising to shoot bb no matter what since if on the offchance he is scum, you can always shoot him

unless this is an elaborate ruse to steal the gun, in which case hats off to you

I don't want to lynch Balki, he's a good sport. Whether he's scum or not is beyond me at the moment

I do want to lynch ND, since I voted for him after one of his posts (and I really should keep a record of these - still looking for darg's) flagged as scummy, but I do get the sense that things are going a bit too easy if so

I had some other things to say but I kinda lost them as I got distracted. Gimme a moment to consolidate

(edit an hour later: I think I never posted this so...)

Not at all. I think Darg is likely to flip scum.

Well, if we do I can't say he wouldn't deserve it. I might back you on that

I like rjmcf and... someone else I'm sure. He seems emphatically genuine in his accusations

Page 21 : g=34&part=Day%201&user=VashtaNeurotic
VashtaNeurotic
Day-1 02:48
page 21 Sorry peeps. Was running a debate tournament from like 5 PM Friday until 10PM Saturday EST. Had to play catch up.

First off, I hate the GS as a role, it rarely ends well with town (they always manage to give a gun to scum for some reason) and would rather whoever they are not give out a gun. If it weren't for the thief I would just not fire the gun if I got it, but since there is I'd probably have to think a bit but would shoot one of my top scumreads.

That being said, I get the Balki hype, but I feel that reeder is slightly off, and he has fewer votes I think (is the bot still crashed?). So:

%%vote reedeer

That's right I'm bolding my votes, because it seems proper. Let's start that trend. It's hard to quantify my scum read of rd he just seems, non genuine this game. It's mostly intuition, but I'm never sure what to vote off of besides that early game.
VashtaNeurotic
Day-1 02:45
page 21 Also slight townreads on ND, yavuz and rd. No idea how to evaluate brainbomb, never have.
This is actually vashs scum style of posting

Balki Bartokomous - was disappointed with Balki's start, but have really liked his press at the later stages of today - TOWN

bo_sox48 - lazy but genuine - Slight TOWN

bozotheclown - hasn't contributed much, but I've liked what he's said in several posts (#395 in particular) - TOWN

brainbomb - was pretty convinced brain was town at first but he's seemed pretty volatile lately and has been very flip floppy for not great reasons - still slight TOWN but wish the calm brainbomb would return

dargorygel - weird entry to the game imo, but have liked a couple of his later posts (#218) - NULL

DemonRHK - my strongest town read, has felt very genuine all game - TOWN

Ezio - haven't really understood where he's coming from and hasn't done much productive searching - slight SCUM

Foxcastle - another strong town read, asking good questions and pressuring oddities - TOWN

Jamiet99uk - felt pretty good about Jamiet as town early, but have since retracted. He normally is pressuring weak points (or at least what he perceives as weak points, even if I don't agree) in arguments relentlessly. - slight SCUM

Maniac - maybe I just don't like Maniac's style of play, but has seemed very unhelpful. If you're not scum Maniac, start trying to help town - SCUM

MeanLaQueefa - awkward entry to game, but I felt like she responded genuinely to the weirdness with rjmcf, and have liked her reasoning - moderate TOWN

ND - has seemed lazy and uninterested in helping town - slight SCUM

rdrivera2005 - have really liked what rd has had to say, probably my 2nd strongest town read - TOWN

reedeer1 - promises reads, doesn't deliver. don't understand how that helps town - slight SCUM

rjmcf - really, really don't understand the literally entire game focus on Mean here. Seems very scummy, but maybe I'm just not seeing things from his perspective and tunneling - SCUM?

snowy801 - haven't seen much from snowy yet. Liked some, disliked others. - NULL

SuperSteve - trololol, unhelpful, apparently his style... gee thanks - NULL

Tom Bombadil - not much contribution, but seemed genuine - slight TOWN

VashtaNeurotic - is Vash playing? - NULL

yavuzovic - says weird things, but comes across as genuine - probably TOWN

Maybe we should lynch Ezio, I have seen multiple people say they think he might be scummy.
I don't like the ND vote. As much as I don't like ND, he seems to be town.
