this might be biased because i would probably assign myself as a person trying to lead but this sort of speculation feels asinine and worthless. like if i were a scumteam i would make my kills as random as possible to assign no traceable pattern

Why would town tell them to shut the hell up? It's definitely the meta to claim rb.

Note 1) I distinctly remember a discussion in the mid-late phases of one game where town was debating not revealing if roleblocks were successful due to info it might reveal on PR actions. 2) I haven't played in literal years, so don't know current meta

Damo, how can it be a silly reaction test if you now no longer suspect Chaqa of being scum? Would you have felt the same way if Chaqa claimed and nobody counter-claimed?

Also while I understand the interaction between Chaqa and ghug can be convincing, we cannot rule out that scum RB'd DeathLlama. There's only two PRs, and if they thought DL was one, it's a 50/50 chance its Doc. If I was scum I'd be roleblocking my kill every night. Why is nobody else even mentioning this possibility?

Okay Chaqa, walk me through it then.

DL was for sure scum sniping for PRs. They weren't widely town-read, and afaik aren't a fear kill.

You have a good enough idea that DL is a PR that you'd NK them. There is a 50/50 chance they are doc if they're PR, which is the only reason you'd RB your kill in this setup. You know roleblocks on non-killed players give a soft town clear.

If you have a good enough hunch that someone *other* than DL is a PR to risk the soft clear *why not kill them instead*?

You double your chances of disrupting a PR by splitting them.

If you accidentally hit a self-saving doctor, you get to guaranteed kill them the next night and roleblock someone else each night.

Two disruptions is always better than one, unless you know who the doctor is and if they need to be roleblocked to kill them that night.

Agree with these conclusions after Bob's rdr post. I agree that his impulse to see himself being proposed as a cw and go spend 5 researching and ultimately defending the other cw is a rather towny one. Though I still don't agree with HR's defense of Bob before that post.
