If his currently play were scum rather than town I would argue he would be powerwolfing here where hes dominating thread space and has an imposing presence. Usually its about a big ego and Tom doesnt strike me as in that mode right now. What he is doing feels like sincere hunting

Yes, very much so.

I meant to expound on this last night. Catching scum on the other team goes a long way toward solving the multi aspect of the game. Once we have two different mafia members, we can compare potential kills to see if they fit with either team. If there is a good reason they can't be scum with either, then they're town.

Not to go all Damo here, but there are 816 three-player scum teams in this setup. Just identifying one from each team means that you can eliminate all of the teams that don't include either of those (544), and all of the teams that include both of them (12). That leaves 260 teams, and each time there's a flip, that number gets significantly smaller.

I don't know that there's a good way to target the non-Durga team in general, but if you are trying to pick between two of your scumreads, pick the one that seems likely to not be scum with Durga.

From a town pov we are already down to 311 teams (91 pairs with durga and 220 other triples).
