Why?

the early efforts to get me to talk about best strategies ive used for PR hunting felt odd for a town aligned person to want to ask. Its one of those things a person maybe wants to know but should realize you cant actually talk about. I sort of feel like it was them asking for free advice on how to identify who PRs are

I only asked because you boasted about pr hunting as both town and scum. I have kept bringing up the fact you pr hunt as town and scum as well.

I haven't pr hunted or done any hunting besides scum hunting so far if you can't tell.

I didn't actually want to know you strategies. I was just wondering why you kept telling everyone you pr hunt as either alignment.

Indojt think you're scum and I don't know what's the point of pr hunting. I only have grasped how to scum hunt.

That would have helped town a lot yes. Would have set scum back to refiguring out pr hunting strategy so also yes.

My strategy for PR hunting is to look at my own posts and wonder if I look like a PR - and then I look for people who look like me with a funny nose

There are a bunch of different incentives for all three of a scum team to end up on Bona. We can't discount that it could have happened, even if it's not likely.

I'm not discounting it but yes I think it unlikely. Until further evidence comes to light I am happy to use it as a guide. If other townies find that useful well that's good, if not, c'est la vie.

No. Not "if not, c'est la vie." If not, you have led us astray with bad reasoning.

I think the if not "cest la vie" refered to other town finding it usefull and not about the result.

I think what Damo wants is to create narrow pools and try to hunt between those smaller pools. It's what most people does but he tends to try to apply some stats to it which I don't think works most of the time.

But I doubt you didn't look at Bona voters tryng to discover who are the scum there because it's really likely we have some.

I think you might be assuming sabi would have the patience to wait if they were scum - rather than they had the impatience to just boldly ask for free advice in thread. inexperience and boldness can be a dangerous thing to underestimate.

but your point is fair. if sabi wanted to play careful as scum they would not ask me openly for free advice on PR hunting and instead would wait til night to ask their team.

And I assume thats what you think is the case. thus there is nothing to analyze wrt sabi possibly asking for free advice on how to hunt Pr because it was just a bad unhealthy question (Is this how you see it? I assume yes?)

Brain if you think Sabi is scum then you have to believe they faked the townslip about scumteams knowing each other, and something that carefully and craftily thought out doesn’t track with your hypothesis that Sabi was impatient and speaking without caution.

were comparing an inadvertant data point to a deliberate data point which swings on a complete 180 either direction depending on which you wanna fixate one

one is supposedly clearing and hard to fake

the other is inexplicably pretty scummy

Once again I feel weird with everyone talking shit my intelligence levels and Craftiness.

I will be in and out during the real life day due to gming round 2 & 3 of vdc. I will probably miss EON due to it being the hour between rounds so I'm using that time to grab dinner.

Idk I think they were just excited to play and talk and learn about stuff. I’m not saying you’re wrong (though I think you are) I just think you’re making two opposing assumptions about where Sabi is coming from. If you think both behaviors can be explained by boldness then that’s also fine, though I think it’s rare that scum actually play like that, and it’s my personal read of Sabi as a person that they wouldn’t be that kind of player.
