My understanding is that there was an unsure number given to us.

My reason for bringing it up is that i recalled someone making math predictions, which would be difficult since we do not know how many.

I assumed due to being in the council the number of scum would have been disclosed to him by Eden? Even if not disclosed to the council, would Eden disclose this to dargo before he ever got replaced in the game?

At least that's my assumption but I guess I could be wrong and just clutching at straws here. So just ignore me if this is all a reach.

That is a good point, but I do not think 1000 series games are cleared.

What's your take on the way people treated you yesterday - were there any votes on you that seemed opportunistic, or anyone shading you that weren't pushing/disagreeing with you as much as you thought they would?

Spoiler for my oncoming evening lectures: why is it more scummy to be blatantly and obviously dodging all questions instead of doing so while hiding this fact? Has it occurred to anyone that scum players do not, in fact, want to be obviously scummy?

I wouldn't really say. Most of the people who went after me I'm moderately to very confident are town (Jamiet / worgorygel) and I mostly town read celaph so that just leaves bona who I'm still torn on [side note: stop saying stupid shit like "oh bona flip would give us so much info" if you think he's scum kill him and leave him if not]

I was actually more eyeing the people who were consciously avoiding scum reading me (more spoilers: ghug, though there were other names whose posts I recall but can't connect the name [yourself?]), because A) scum players know I'm town and so instead of being like "fuck snowy he scum" they have to wonder wtf is Snowy doing and the first instinct to the unknown is caution, especially as anyone who's played with me before knows I'll fuck them up if they slip even slightly sideways

But more on this later, all will be answered by this evening p sure

1. The read isn't "scum ghug is apathetic" it's "scum ghug doesn't scumread his kill target".
2. He retracts his read on me somewhat since games since he established this meta belief haven't fit it as well. What follows is the investigation he did presumably before coming to this conclusion.

He's still a slight scumread for me, but I feel like the posting has been a little better since bo died (his specifically, though obviously there's general addition by subtraction there). I'd like to see what he turns his attention to next.

he also interacts a ton with snowy but has never put out a read on him throughout d1. In his VCA post n1, he hedges a townread ('snowy better', 'snowy has positive signal [but thing] which weakens this a little')

Basically at the point where I voted you, I had been unable to get people onto Damo and we were relatively close to EOD, so I figured I should choose between the main wagons. I figured snowy was just doing shit to get through N1 so I couldn't really read him, and I had a townread on squigs bc vibes, which led me to reread you and try to sift for signal.

I wouldn't say it's entirely cleared up but Snowy has stated that my interpretation was not the correct interpretation of that statement. He didn't explain what his actual meaning was.

Nonetheless:

1. Snowy apparently didn't scumread Bo, yet he asked if people would be willing to vote for Bo, he joined the Bo wagon (that you started), and he expressed disappointment when, for a brief time, the Bo wagon lost traction.

2. Snowy apparently had at least a weak scumread on Bona as EoD approached, and he wanted the Bona wagon to have traction, yet when the Bona wagon became the lead wagon Snowy didn't re-join it, and instead stayed on Bo_Sox who he didn't scumread.

The jist is I think that food was killed less for scumreading and maybe for being vocal about town reading Bona? Or maybe both?

Food also was looking deep into bo opinions and posts as well. Bo I do think we need to keep putting pressure on Squigs. Maybe Squigs would be a good flip kill but also we can't afford a miskills atm either.

Ugh this is very confusing.

What are your thoughts on food kill possible motives? What about killing Squigs for info?
