Could you describe what mask you presented, though, and why that mask would stop a daykill?

I think I see some disorganized movement to save/protect bona. Folk SAID they were doing it to save him, even. This seems unlikely to be scumtalk. But it could be blatant in our face scumtalk. But, tbf, if there are people voting to protect someone they THINK is town (because we don't know nuttin' on D1) instead of voting for the most scummy, then it seems that bona is more of a distraction to town.

I've got oodles of gut-feel about bona. Soup, maybe, but not concrete.

But the above, and my gut, AND his overplayed reaction to the DK are enough for my vote.

I'm also sus of snowy.

I might have voted for him, out of angst. I tend to dislike escalation. And his(my?) vote was clearly defending bona. So I am wrestling with that, despite my vote.

I didn't see anything scumindicative, though.

Pretty sure worcej was town.

Part, I suppose, of why I am voting bona might be to show that I am NOT protecting bona...

squigs/snowy scummier for how things went, but probably only one of them is scum

Why do you think squigs/snowy were scummier from EOD? If one of them is scum, who in the list you posted were their most likely protectors?

1) Activity was very fluid until for some reason they dropped off the map for some reason, and there was a sizeable pattern of people who voted for neither and consolidated onto either me or bo

I'm trying to bring my enthusiasm back. It kinda went away after the incident but I will bring it back even if I have to ask each remaining person in the game 3 questions every couple of hours. You all will hate me for that but I don't care.

hope you're feeling better/safer! there are two things I would've expected you to comment on by now given your past activity - asking all those questions is fine but it's also worth following them up later if you think they're worthwhile things to pursue. In particular I'm curious to know what you got out of some of those d1 survey questions and if it's still an approach you want to take

I got some of the players thoughts on other players as well as their meta take. I will be coming back to those question periodically. Maybe they were trick questions, who knows. Super secretive.

But I have changed up my questions and started going after those that really have not explained their thought processes for their reads and statements. Or those who's reads I agree when and want others to be influenced.

he voted me despite 'having trouble getting signal from high posters like snowy/ghug/bona in general' (his stated reason was 'it's weird that bona is gone actually'/'even when he was around yesterday he kinda just stopped progressing reads in the last few hours')

he also interacts a ton with snowy but has never put out a read on him throughout d1. In his VCA post n1, he hedges a townread ('snowy better', 'snowy has positive signal [but thing] which weakens this a little')

he also never mentions sqoogs, except tangentially.

also why make this post? it's so strange because it's 20 minutes after his previous post, which means that he's really just popping in and saying this, but why is this the thing you want to emphasize?

Once upon a time I called Snowy useless town, but on reread I'm not sure why I put Snowy at anything above null. That EoD was not a good look for Snowy, and so I think it's time for Snowy to stop being so elusive

Useless town candidate: Snowy. I think snowy is probably more likely town based on the abstract play, but it's so enigmatic and elusive that it's not good for town

Lurkers: Lurkers are fine to vote out and eliminate early, but there are usually better wagons. We shouldn't default to piling on lurkers as the wagonomics on that would be awful but it's not a huge loss if they get eliminated. I'd much rather find someone scummy than someone useless.

Info flip: I strongly disagree that lurkers give info. Info comes from interactions and wagonomics. You want someone that is polarizing. Someone who has been both attacked and defended and has both attacked and defended. Flipping counterwagons is usually good later but that doesn't apply here. So I would say right now Bona could be a good info flip. Bona has had 5 votes cast for, has casted 3 votes, has had some people offer defenses/explanations, and has interacted with a decent number of people in interesting ways.
