I have explored shockingly little in the way of archetypes for empires because I found something I really like to do all the time, so it’s helpful to have someone who’s done the all-in offbeat stuff like Merchant Unity Rush tell me that I can safely ignore Mercantile if I’m not doing that. His conclusions for standard empires match what I already intuited (good: Expansion, Discovery, Prosperity, Supremacy; solid: Unyielding, Domination, Harmony; situational: Diplomacy, Mercantile; lol: Subterfuge, Adaptability).

I dunno, online hours are not as reliable as you think

I know in the past I carefully gamed my "appearances" between being online and reading through private mode on the off chance that somebody was looking.

I've definitely switched between browsing in forum, and browsing in the bot. And rigged a browser to reload just to make me look online other times.

I periodically opened the PM compose page to fuck with you the night you revealed we could see that.

Chaqa saying that he wasn’t roleblocked because of godfather is nonsense and you guys are eating it up.

The theory isn’t nonsense, but there is no way were I scum that I would let a cop get a scan off when I was one of like the three most likely people to get scanned.

I’m off to bed, but Y’all need to take a step back and think how ridiculous that would be.

Let's assume 2/4 scum are dead and, of the alive ones, the GF is around.

The POE pool was 10 people, or 10% to scan the non-GF scum. If we expand to 3/4 scum left, it's still 20%.

At worst, my pool was only five players - Bona, Flum, TFB, Chaqa, and myself, which is also 20%.

This is why I think scum rolled the dice with only 2 left alive at this point.

If it's two we ought to have gotten someone else at some point. Do you imagine that was Jasnah or Jamiet?

Both are entirely possible, though I suspect Jamie more on gameplay than jasnah.

At this point, I think jasnah was trolling us all but still deserved to die even if she was a VT because she'd be worthless alive right now.

All I am trying to illustrate is there is a realm of possibilities where scum let a free scan off and RB'ed me.

I’m actually comfortable declaring all the Tom voters town, except maybe snowy if we think he deliberately tied the vote, because otherwise mafia would have to anticipate Tom getting scanned—when the Cop is already outed and thus able to be roleblocked forever.

Amusingly, as I type that, it occurs to me that if you thought the mafia was sufficiently clairvoyant, they might have let Chaqa have the scan just for that reason. But I don’t think so.

I’ll come up with something today to try to wrap up this game, I think we finally have enough data for me not to suck at it.

Bozo was dead when the truely weird actions happened. The earlier kills were probably PR hunting, and not that odd.

Im still not 100% convinced Tom was scum. Its probably the case.

If the scum were/are indeed Rdrivera/Tom/Bozo, id feel theres only ~2 players in this game that would overpower their opinions (unless they were truely inactive during night phases).

If its Bozo/Rdrivera, itd take a certain type of "dynamic duo".
