I didn't earlier say it, but Killing Flum is just the most obvious move in the world for Scum. Bunny or Flum are both good kills, but Bunny we do talk about possibly being Evil. Flum has no chance of getting daykilled, so he's a great NK. Which means sure, WorceJ could defend Flum, but then ... Just don't kill Flum? Don't kill Flum, and kill random person that doctor won't visit. I can't understand Mafia's head here.

Toms conspiracy theory about Jasnah!cop is ... Reaching. If no one counterclaims we kill Tom, Oracle can scan, but we assume Tom is scum, and Oracle gives themself up near endgame if Mafia doesn't shoot them by then.

Am I like... In a coma, and this is my brains attempt to wake me up? What am I saying that's odd. Killing Flum makes sense, blocking WorceJ to let off a Chaqa scan is dumb. That's my analysis of end of night results.

Then I say what I think we should do. Kill Tom. Oracle scans tom. Oracle dies, and tells us if Tom is scum or a VT. If VT, we kill Chaqa? What's weird?!?!?

1) It's substantially similar to what other people are saying (and identical to your earlier self who got fried by wifom), but it's sort of incomprehensible?

2) It's a massive tonal difference from earlier, thoughtful, controlled Doom who edited and deleted posts, to go to not capitalizing properly.

That eod was very easily scum vs. town the way it went.
Who knows though. We know nothing. And we probably never will.

I'm still confused how anyone thinks this is town sided. The only reason we're not in an awful position is scum flopping on 3 NK in a row.

Kgray voting Jamiet definitely throws my narrative a little off. I know at least one of my scum reads is wrong since I have too many so it might be one of those two.

A sampling of Fluminator's most direct reads posts. Mercifully, unlike many people in here... [scratches head and glances at the ground]... Flum's reads were consistent and clearly and concisely stated, so you can easily check my work.

It's a bit WIFOM to read too much into why mafia nightkills someone for reads-based reasons, but on balance I think they're more likely to kill people who are right rather than kill people who are wrong to make a meta-narrative play. That said, given Chaqa's scan, he was at least right about Tom. I kinda suspect he was right about more. Killing him is a bit weird from a mechanics standpoint, but if Jamie or jasnah were mafia and Fluminator had the rest of the team in his (much narrower than most) POE pool as a nigh-confirmed town, that would be enough reason to prioritize killing him - and presumably the mafia simply valued ensuring the kill worked over preventing a scan (strange and probably wrong play, but mafia are allowed to misplay...).

Mostly this makes me think Jamie was right, with a side of Vecna being sus but not putting a lot of weight on it just from Flum's views. (You could also interpret it to mean kgray is sus, I just think kgray is town.)

Oh and I forgot to mention! Flum was pretty certain snowy and ghug were both town. That probably mattered less for nightkill rationale, but if the guy was just generally on fire (looks that way), it matters for how we proceed through the next few days.

I think they just fucked up with the roleblock assignment or else were that scared of Fluminator. But killing Flum ahead of PRs isn't actually that ludicrous if he's just right about everything.

And I guess while I'm still rambling about it, Chaqa scanning Tom made perfect sense to me, I just wanted to hear his rationale first. It checks out. I would probably also not put a lot of thought into it expecting an rb, and would pick in the POE pool because that's definitely useful - we have more people in the pool than kills. I didn't want to just give a story he could copy if he were faking, but it's pretty legit. The only reason to be suspicious of his claim is the weird night actions, but it's not that crazy for mafia to just make a mistake.
