Another monster dump read for D3. Got busy with work so couldn't post it at the start of D3 like I liked but c'est la vie. You can accuse them of being bad, but you can't accuse me of not trying:

Med Town. Their town slips run into lands of almost incredulity when it comes to things said. Anyone else and I would assume they were scum in the running for a Razzie for their acting, but with Sabi I think they're town who got confused by one of the hardest possible games to be their first foray into four mafia

Town conf. I said on D2, either he's town or a god-tier scum player. In this case he's clearly town and got a brilliant read on bozo.

Scum conf. Bona got the meta scum tell and then the dude lost the CC War.

Town all but clear. He is the Miller almost certainly imo.

Chaqa

Medium Town. I buy his cop claim a lot more which leads me to town read him. Behavior also seems more towny than before.

Slight town. While I didn't like a lot of their D1 calls their D2 and D3 posting did step it up quite a bit. Their grave digging post was some solid analysis and I think they had healthy credulity about everything while still seeming plausibly excited about the whole event.

Durga

Strong Town. Read the Durga-PE fights on Day 1 as town on town and have continued to read her as town largely since. I generally liked the logic on her reads and have generally shared them. Each increasing day has only increased my faith in Durga

Fluminator

Strong Town. With my increasing confidence in Chaqa's cop claim I have to assume that Flum is a confirmed VT.

Slight scum. I really liked ghug's good posts. I feel like there was a lot I learned that helped me process the Day 1 turns from him and that his posts generally helped contribute to town thinking through things in a thoughtful fashion. This behavior continued in Day 2 when he gave an ultimately prescient read on Worcej based on meta. Up until just now when going through all his D2/D3 stuff I thought ghug was Med Town, but now I look at EOD2 vote where after saying in the middle of the day he has strong town reads on Worcej he chooses to vote for worcej with 1 minute left AFTER worcej counterclaims the doctor. I see ghug give a half explanation of it at SoN2 but I don't think it's nearly deep enough.

Can you explain why after thinking worcej is solid town all day you choose to believe bozo's doc claim over his?

Slight scum. I really, really do not like the Chaqa->Jasnah vote. I view voters that had never voted for jasnah that then switched onto her right after the PR claim with incredible scrutiny. She did seem to be seriously scum hunting when going after Chaqa but given that she's incredibly smart in general and seems to receive universal acclaim for their skills as scum, I give her great posts less weight than I give others for better or worse. I do waffle on this read a little because I can't tell if she is seriously pissed because she's town and trying but dumb people like me keep attacking her or if she's actually scum and gaslighting me hard enough that I feel bad about my tracks on her.

Town. See above for part of the read re: Durga-PE fight. Came off incredibly town vs town. Damo's town clear if we believe that Damo is the cop. Strong posts and thoughts, plenty of original contributions that lead me to believe he's town. I don't like the Jas->Cha vote switch at the end but given he had voted for Jasnah right before voting for Chaqa as the wagon caught fire, I don't think of it as bad of a scum tell. I like his position on day-killing and on miller reveal D1. His play got even better on N2/D3 in my view as his analysis on why mafia intentionally punting the kill made sense and was not just original but also non-obvious. Showed strong pro town play.

Slight town. Bona got mad at me for saying rdar was the same as lfischl last time and I think that equating them is a little unfair given rdr tried the little he was here.

Slight scum. The guy has buddied me a lot which makes me a little worried he is trying to play me for a fool with idle flattery and the such from calling me great and my haters a bag of dicks to saying I was based and pink pilled. Further, given what others have said about his meta, I've been somewhat disappointed with his activity on D2 and today. I expected a lot more hard wagons on people with strong logic and conviction, but instead I get light aspersions cast on a bunch of people and then frequent wagon hopping and seemingly random flashwagoning.

Slight scum. His posting has picked up recently but I don't find his attempted bozo!scum => tom!town defense compelling and find his overall lack of activity disappointing. I think at least 1-2 scum is hiding out in the inactives and Tom is one that doesn't have bona loving them at least from what I recall last time he covered my reads.

Med town. I liked him shooting down some of the dumber Oracle/JOAT suggestions wrt how to handle the jasnah/bunny miller claim in D1 and then targeting literal randos in D3. That bought some cred with me. Scum seems predisposed to just letting PRs waste their time there. Further he stuck by worcej hard and was strongly vindicated for it.

im gonna repeat again, that in my book, an oracle reveal on a random DK that didnt claim shit, is probably a huge waste.

Unless the vote analysis would have some really great information, it just doesnt bring us anything. Except then people will do what they usually do, and make potentially horrendous deductions based on VCA.

Kind of off topic but I would discourage people from reading too much into whether someone wants to kill off bozo today or not. There’s decent pro-town arguments for both sides—I’m more persuaded by the idea that the harder we make the WIFOM battle for mafia the better our odds that Chaqa gets a scan off, but Vecna makes a good point that it’s possible the game bogs down (although it hasnt yet that may change)

Because that -can- actually have relevant outcomes for our understanding of this game that dont rely on votes (outcome being scum or miller).

Note that I already had Bozo pegged for suspicious behavior on how he acted around the Jasnah wagon for example.

Im not saying its the be-all, end-all oracle use. Im saying itll give us more useful results than a random DK we choose now, like Tom B, snowy, Ghug or whatever.

It was also to just undermine the silly comments that the oracle totally needs a new daykill to have a usefull target to reveal.

Maybe. I think Jasnah is more likely town than most of the people up for discussion today, so I think the chances that revealing her helps us are kind of low... And if she is scum, she didn't leave us much to work with. Wouldn't confirming another scum is probably more helpful? Or what do you think about oracle revealing damo?
