What do you guys think about Doom and bozo?
Very very slight town lean on doom. Maybe medium town lean on Bozo.
Hmm, Doom was my strongest town read as of yesterday (excepting Bunny, assume this for all subsequent posts I guess).

Better question is where does your medium town lean on Bozo come from? Anything catch your eye?
Doom was a townread but I’m a little concerned about possible coaching. I might be overthinking the situation. Not a priority kill in any way.

I’ll need to review Bozo. I had him in my head as more likely town but can’t remember why atm

My take is I usually have the same thoughts as Kgray when we are both town to the point of naming her my spokesperson because she usually made the points I want to make in a better way.
I don't even think this is true at this point.

@Snowy:

Two possibilities for scum!ghug's actions in that situation:

1. Ghug knows Jasnah is town and hopes the Oracle will be used on her, making him look good and shading the people who voted her.

2. Ghug saving his team mate and hoping the Oracle would not be used on Jasnah.

Those are reasonable motives, I admit.

Well, you keep keeping an eye out.

@rdrivera/kgray have you noticed you both claim the other puts your thoughts to words better than yourselves?

I wonder if jasnah was The Godfather and that’s why there was such a push to protect her

Yes lmao it's been a joke with us for over a year now. It comes up basically every game and Rivera often uses it as part of a basis for his read of me, but I don't think it's at all as consistent of a tell as he thinks/pretends.

I am missing what’s so weird about people wanting to vote off someone besides jasnah. If they think jasnah is town, isn’t it optimal to vote where there might be mafia?

Well yeah I get the basis of the joke I just think it's cute that you both compliment the other as being better phrased than yourselves, instead of just pulling a ghug and saying "they're mini-me"

It is cute. And actually, Rivera got me to join mafia in the first place - wow thanks a lot Rivera :eyeroll:

Again as snowy said I think the disconnect comes from probability.

Jasnah was either scum or fake claiming VT. At the time I thought it was about a 50/50 shot so it seemed like the best possible day 1 vote, and if it was wrong we eliminated the least valuable town member instead of someone else.

Maybe i just don’t have a high threshold for day 1 votes or something

The Godfather claiming Miller would be a very stupid play.

Is that what you think Ghug was having to deal with?

It was more the way Ghug seemed so sure and was willing to shout at people about it and demand everyone join together to save Jasnah at any cost.

Oh look at you mr lurking EoD
Do you know what a job is? EOD is @ 3:00 PM for me. I have meetings where I cannot be around explicitly play exactly how you want. I was watching via my cell under the table so that my damn boss didn't get pissed at me

Honestly - I hope scum do us a favor and kill you tonight. You're grinding my gears with your play style right now.

Also - well done all you 'super smart scum hunting people' who wanted to play the game instead of let mechanics drive the game - you forced the cop to claim. Top-notch scum hunting by the likes of you incredibly 'skilled' players this time around. For all the negativity that gets talked about our ability to scum hunt, you all contribute to that bad opinion with your egotistical methodologies.

Can you 'skilled players' take a moment to reflect on your absolutely horrible play and check your egos at the door this next phase?

Rant over. Time to go finish work so that I can gtfh.
I'm fairly confident it's worcej.

Consider: why is he so angry here? Allegedly it's because we 'super smart scum hunting people' forced a cop to claim, but even a night and day after said claim it is still not clear to anyone whether or not his claim is real, so why was it to him?

He was equally confident that Jasnah was scum instantly; repeat above statement here.

worcej was really obvious as scum in the last two games I played with him, just as he is now. Granted this paints more of a picture where Chaqa/Flum is cop/inno and Jasnah scum but irrespective of others this seems pretty clear.

@kgray why were/are you so sure worcej is town? Sell me the argument.

Ok so Chaqa thinks that scum tried to save Jasnah, and he thought it was important to draw attention to this theory.

At the same time, he refuses to talk about the ringleader of the late-D1 "SAVE JASNAH!" push. (i.e. Ghug), and indicates a refusal to talk about him until several days from now.

If its so important to avoid discussing Ghug, why did you want to discuss events in which Ghug was a pivotal actor?

Not fucking helpful Chaqa.
I don’t know what he has on ghug, but I saw enough in an earlier comment to respect his stance here.

That said, he should talk about something he doesn’t have to sit on
Not to discourage Chaqa from talking or anything, but I think we should talk about someone other than him for once.

How do you feel about the idea that TFB is curating his posts/coached/went from active to lurking real quick?

I did notice he made a big post not long after the last suggestion was made.
I was busy with the Virtual Diplomacy League and cheering on my Texas Longhorns yesterday haha
