@Ghug: If you are town, then I appeal to you. You are voting me partly because you and I seem to be bad at communicating with each other, and this annoys you. This is not a pro-town mindset for you, but in a large game maybe it would be forgivable. However, in this game, we only have 9 townies. Therefore we cannot afford multiple mis-killings. So, voting me when a big part of your reason for doing so is "Jamie is annoying, I'd rather get him out of the way" is helping scum and hindering town.

You're better than this.
I've never had this much difficulty communicating with you before last game, and last game, our struggles communicating contributed to my correctly scumreading you, so I'm inclined to trust the heuristic until there's reason not to.

Now, I've had other reasons for the scumread in both cases, but I will acknowledge that they're much weaker here. My plane is taking off here in a few moments, and I imagine you won't be a viable wagon when I land, so I wouldn't worry too much about my vote.

Peace.

It's probably worcej, celaph, and Vecna, actually.

##VOTE WORCEJ for lurking.
Are Vecna and I still on here for the weak townread argument you made earlier?

it's un-celaph to make those comments
I feel very meh about almost everyone at the moment and I haven't seen anyone really make a good argument. Hence my focus on pushing back against people's suspicions.

so tossing up voting between lfischl and worcej
they both kinda suck
both talked about ghug/jamie and not much else
but i feel like lfischl was more awkward about it so ##vote lfischl
although i did like his reply to bona
Do you feel like lfischl is playing differently than normal? I certainly wouldn't describe his play as impressive, but it felt very lfischl-y to me.
why are you ignoring me?
I just comment on the posts as I get to them. I just got to your posts.

No, your previous argument itself is obviously flawed in that it gives scum an easy out for voting for someone towny without providing a serious reason. If your argument on either of us has changed, then I'd love to know why.

##vote Kak for the fluff he was filler he was putting out.

@kak, you said that you were fishing for reactions yet a number of your posts so obviously contained no information that it makes me wonder what reaction you were expecting for besides being dismissed/ignored. What conclusions have you drawn from them?

I'm also partial to Maniac and Worcej wagons given their lack of content. lfischl also falls into this category, but his posts felt very normal and so I'm less inclined to vote for him.

I mean, a town read is a serious reason to vote you. How many townies go up to heaven only to realize that they were townreading scum and that their scummiest reads were actually the good guys? Only by acknowledging how often we are wrong can we come to be right.

I find it interesting that you think I'm pushing back against townreads when I'm doing the exact opposite, pushing back against people's scumreads. I'm not confident in my own, but I'd like people to at least put forward good reasons for the wagons they are on. I was doing just that in 2 of the 4 posts you highlighted earlier.

Can you elaborate on what caught your eye because it feels like normal NAI ghug to me? Particularly given your later comment, why you think that Bona is likely to be ghug's teammate? Do you dislike a scum ghug/town Bona explanation?
I'm challenging Kak's ghug/bona scumread because I don't see it.

Why is it wierd? I'm just asking why he posts *SQUAWK*.
@worcej, coming from anyone besides lfischl I would agree with you, but my memory is that lfischl has asked a number of literal surface level questions before like this.
[/quote]
I'm contesting worcej's read on lfischl as weird because it strikes me as normal lfischl.

One of the other two posts you quoted was when I agreed that Bob's last posts at the time were weird. I stand by that statement though since then his posts have returned to a more normal Bob. I'm keeping an eye on him, but don't have a strong desire to kill him today. The last one was me challenging lfischl's ghug/Jamie connection. I suppose you could interpret this as pushing back against a townread, but I see no indication about whether lfischl sees them as more likely t/t or s/s.

I suppose your approach would be correct if you think that your reads are worse than random.

Interesting that the two lead wagons are both voting for wagon 3. Maybe we have scum v scum and they are looking for a viable townie to kill.

Not sure what to make of Ghug saying he’ll vote for Jamie but doesn’t think he’ll be a viable wagon when he returns.

I’m happy on Jamie. Prob can’t be very active until very late.

I have not made a formal study of it, but yeah, I'm more often surprised that someone flips scum than not, and as a PR I have saved scum multiple times. My theory is that scum are working really hard to seem towny, and the town are not working as hard to avoid looking scummy.
