Hey kgray, how do you feel about the prospect of hot salsa'ing Vecna rather than food/Maniac for the purpose of gaining an extra clear for end game? Or is it better to shoot for a 3P target and eliminate where there is most doubt, you think?

It depends a little on what Vecna has, and I don’t remember that detail. Does he have something useful we wouldn’t want town to lose? Or if he has any 3P items, they’d go to someone not on the lead wagon from today, and we’re keeping 3P candidates off the lead wagon, so that’s risky?

I think I’d use it on a 3P/scum candidate and narrow that pool rather than extra-clear Vecna, but maybe I just trust him too much. If he isn’t the 3P he’ll probably be dead before the endgame anyway...

Well this is probably mostly confbias because the pool is so small, and I’m basically trusting everything damo and snowy say, but I think Jamie’s probably scum (annoyed that he can’t defend against snowy’s gut reads - it’s frustrating when you can’t defend yourself as scum. Also the eod where he almost died wasn’t very town!jamie imo) and I’m sus of food pushing my slot because scum obviously can’t push the clears, and me not being around much makes me an easy target.

I’m a bit sus of Macca too, they’re saying they’re just “bad” as town but generally they have their own reads even if they’re just gut reads. I’m not seeing much of that, and I think they’d give items to bob as either alignment.

I’m not pushing you, there is basically no way you’d be killed today. I’m emphatic that we don’t clear your position based on Vecna’s faulty logic that the item cop would have been active N3 and therefore tracked. The copier died D2 and therefore I think the item cop would hang out and not use their power N3 - or at least, it is entirely possible.

Vecna is not known to have anything aside from the hot salsa, which I expect him to give away, and even if he does have something he can throw that away too.

There is no more items remaining that will be valuable for its own sake, rather than keeping it out of 3P hands, after today.

I think hot salsaing Vecna is the way to go. There is still risk if Jamiet is the 3P but then he should be the next DK if he isn´t today.
