i initially went for the simple and snappy response
but i think it may be worth digging into further
this seemed to be in reference to his previous post saying that he and ghug could not be scum together
for some reason the existence of a pinto beans claim will make that any more certain somehow?

When I am town I try and put myself in scum shoes to try and work out what they would do. This is an effective way of scumhunting. I don't see why you find my line of thought surprising.
