I would argue that lots of people are coasting this game.

Bona (at points), Celaph, Damo (until today basically), Macca, Maniac (early game especially), Yavu.

Seriously, why have we not flipped Macca and Yavu simply for lurking yet?

I would guess I was roleblocked because someone took the Werewolf accusations seriously.

I am seriously wondering why the Werewolf hasn't chomped on Dargo yet.

There are plenty of reasons for the werewolf to hold their guess and darg not being the cop is not at the top of that list.

While there may be others, I think this possibility is certainly high. I will back off a litle though.

Why did WW not eat copDarg last night?

1. Darg is not cop, to me this is so unlikely it can be ignored.
2. WW was blocked.

Is there any other reason ? Maniac could have been Journo, vt or scum so not a good target.

3. Maniac is WW.

Conclusion either Maniac or Chaqa is WW.

I propose we kill Maniac today and if he does not flip WW town blocker should block Chaqa and if darg not eaten then Chaqa is werewolf and we kill him.

Of course we may choose not to eat in orde to incriminate Chaqa but so what, darg will have survived and Chaqa might be scum anyway.

Also Maniac could be scum.

Perhaps I've forgotten something. Why do we think Maniac could be the WW. I understand that Chaqa was RB'd, but why Maniac?

Setup 1: 0 roleblocker/janitor (unproven)
setup 2: 0 inventor/ninja (we know this is out)
setup 3: 0 doctor/goon (unproven)
setup 4: 0 watcher/driver (we know this is out)
setup 5: 0 journalist/godfather (we know this is out)
setup 6: 0 cop/stalker (we know this is out)


So we're either in 1 or 3. No one should be claiming to be the doc, but I think it's worth it to put the RB claimants up, especially considering how none of them have been NK'ed.

The mafia NK cannot be roleblocked as long as there is more than 1 mafia member remaining. The kill will always fall back on another mafia member if possible if the intended killer is roleblocked.

Well that's an unusual buff to the Mafia team that HR totally didn't mention when he submitted this for approval, but ok thanks for clarifying.

Perhaps, as bona sideways suggests, the WW does not believe my claim in all of its convoluted mess.

Perhaps the WW fears the blocking power of the doc.

Perhaps the WW fear(ed) the revealing power of the watcher.

Perhaps the WW is holding their killing choices till later. Usually in late game lots of PR's and vanillas are known.

I'm ALSO not sure why the scum team hasn't killed me, either. But they HAVE the ability to disempower me every turn. And there is nothing else happening to require their RB. So they can keep this up forever.

They are probably trying for a perfect record (not unusual) but they hit very likely targets each night. And THAT is my fault. If I had not revealed, they would be less sure of their options.

I am not quite saying they have done fear kills each night... but they have hit either well-known solvers or a pretty obvious PR each night.

Set up 3 is the worst for us, and the best for scum, obv.

Damo's analysis is so damo. And his retraction from conclusion pushes me town on him.

Let me know if you think I should claim who I have tried to investigate the last two nights.

I'll be busy most of today. But part two of this Day look ok.

I am feeling less confident in brain's read of celaph... I might have been falling into the "dead folk know more" syndrome.

I could most happily vote today for celaph, maniac, HB, yavu. Jamie, chaqa, and kak deserve an ISO.

I can't tell if these continual celaph and Macca wagons are a good or bad thing.

I am pretty sure we will have to DK Macca at some point as they are just not following the game and having them at kilo will be a huge risk.

WW can try (and almost certainly did try) but will not succeed if you are not cop. Since we can assume it failed, you know who the werewolf is.

You are attributing a reason for the WW not to eat me that is based solely on your presupposition, that I am not the cop. By your reasoning, and based on what has been presented in the room, you or macca are the best candidates for WW.

No-one is on to talk, so I'm just gonna dump some thoughts.

I saw some talk of a massclaim.
I am generally against massclaims, and I think that rule will hold here. It's mostly VTs left, only giving maf/ww access to our cop and RBer/doc. It will also give the WW a pretty clean path to the finish line, possibly giving the game to scum (through a mexican standoff).

HB, can you sum up your scumread of Jamie? You went back and forth on the reading of Jamie in your posts leading up to this vote on Jamie. For example you give Jamie both town and scum points (as below).

I am struggling to understand how you moved onto Jamie here because your observation about Jamie drawing attention to darg's claim is townie is quite astute; whereas when Jamie is obviously screwing around and joking about claiming Janitor you give him scum points. Or, at least, that's how I read it.

Can you give me the Cliff Notes here? What makes you scumread Jamie overall?

What makes me consider it isn't just performative is when Jamie says, "Isn't it interesting that Dargorygel has claimed to be the Cop.
Then he retracted his claim.
Then he went back to claiming it.
Isn't that interesting?"

Instead of smoothing over the issue, like I think scum would do, attention is tried to be brought to it. Town point for Jamie.
