I don't like this post because it's unnecessary and unprompted elaboration on someone else's kinda old comment. Bad vibes, really
Bona, you’ve pointed out a lot of things you don’t like. What have you really liked so far? Who do you townread?
I like celaph, kgray, and ghug so far. Most people are only slightly one way or the other so far, but they stand out to me.
Why?

Any thoughts you want to share Bona?
I think I'm town
Bona is once again his way too fluffy playstyle. Somewhat equating it to him being non-town by now
Do you think it's more intentional at this point?

Ok you've sussed all the scum immediately in every game recently and it's validating my opinion so ##VOTE Maniac
I......have?
Yeah, I haven't looked at how many people you wrongly sus, and you've ended up dropping most of them pretty quickly, but at least in last game and the one Chaqa won alone, you accused nearly all the mafia based on their first few posts.
Can confirm Vecna pretty much correctly suspected the whole mafia team last game.

Huh? Mafia know which PRs are in the game already.
First thing I've read this game worthy of discussion.

So is this

A) a brainbomb townslip
B) scum brainbomb wanting it to seem like A
C) scum brainbomb not realising his own advantage?

None of these would surprise me. I'm going to assume A for the timebeing.
I cannot recall brain ever actually townslipping...

Well for starters you all agree that the votes on me were dumb lol. I'll try and dig some more specific stuff in a bit.

Why are you falsely ascribing quotes to me? Why are you posting a series of celaph quotes with no words? Stop being weird.

Food and Flash blend into one person to me. Probably the f names and all that...
If you don’t remember something worcej, why comment on it in a way that suggests you do? I remember you usually being aggro-snark D1, not sloppy and possibly misleading town.

Very scummy IMO.
I mean, I stand by my statement still. You both blend and are both lurkers from my memory.

Ghug, you’ve sort of flippantly called brain, kgray and Chaqa scum. I don’t get the impression you actually think any of them ARE scum... but you haven’t called anyone else scum, other than sheeping Vecna onto Maniac... which also strikes me as unserious.

Is there anyone you seriously think might be scum at this point?
All of those people lol
Why do you think I might be scum?
Idk you said something that made me think you were scum so I said so.

You're saying all the things I'm saying though, which is a good sign.

Lies. I'm neither good nor overrated.
Give yourself some credit. You can be good at this game while still making mistakes.
Catching a few scum here and there doesn't exactly make up for blowing the game in kylo multiple times.... And you're gonna have to try a lot harder than that if you want to pocket me this time ;)
The only reason you've blown the game in kylo is because you've struggled to convince other town of your reads or you've been wrong and won't come off your reads.

But typically your reads have been correct more than they've been wrong.

This has been my TED talk.

Do you think that ghug and food's votes are out of respect for kgray? Do you think it's a good idea to vote strong players without other suspicion?
Second part that I forgot to respond to - I think voting strong scum players out early is entirely acceptable for a D1 vote.
It's really not. It's no better than voting out players you think are "bad" as town.
Highly disagree with your opinion here.

"Bad" is an inflammatory term to assign someone. "strong scum" is a compliment of ability.

Agreed with kgray here. I found this a weird statement to be made by worcej who is usually the champion of town-lives-and-dies-together. The general hypothesis being advanced is kgray=good-either-way so the logical town move is wait-and-see, but worcej is subtly advocating a kgray votekill.
First, town does live and die together.

Second, you're ignoring context. The question was about D1, which is typically just a game of Russian roulette when it comes to EOD.

Third, there is nothing subtle about my style/communication. I'm not trying to 'wait and see' with kgray - I see absolutely no reason to vote her on D1. I'm sure I'll find a better 'person to smother' over her as I catch up.

chaqa coming in with his usual confusion on when the game begins. Im never convinced he isnt actually aware. the rest of his entry feels scattered.

damo has made a few posts so far which did very little for me. which is normal
Chaqa's entrance into games usually piques my interest. I usually sense a level of laziness mixed with non-excitement.

People can edit their words once they're typed brain. I don't buy this.
This assumes that a scum player (macca) was self aware during a stream of consciousness post that they were being their ordinary self and went and self edited. Im not even sure how this refutes my point that they added faked enthuisiasm at the end to look towny. again this post was from M64 and not this game.
Scum players are always (or should always be) self-aware of what their posts look like.
Eh... I think more newish scum would be overly self-aware. Most regulars around here have been scum enough to not become too obvious.

I agree. which is why they added faked excitement in their opening post of M64.

youre actually arguing my points right now
You're insane. If they were scum, they would have re-edited the whole message and not tacked on a thing at the end (ie, we can't tell if scum!macca makes a certain post since town!macca would make the same post)
You're assuming scum spend far too much time editing their posts...

This is a scumtell from you bona. for a number of reasons.

but the most important reason is that you are fighting tooth and nail to keep a player as a null when you should be seeking to prove that player is town or scum by any means necessary.

this arbitrary use if logic and judgement mirrors how you played as scum in m64 where you would argue just for the sake of asinine page filling arguments.

##vote bona
Agree with this logic. It's one thing to say something is NAI, but the amount of pushback from Bona was noticable.

Holding off a vote, but Bona is rather up on my ' :? list'

I'm noticing foodcoats keeps asking a lot of "would X player do this?" or "does Y player play like this as scum?" type questions, which to me seems like an easy way to make yourself look like you're hunting that pushes the work from you to others. I find it is a pretty common scum tactic.
I literally haven’t asked either of those questions. But perhaps you’re referring to my mental balancing of my worcej read. I’m getting a lot of scum vibes from him at the moment, moreso than usual I think, but I have to balance that with the fact I find worcej’s early-game style just generally scummy.

But again I’m pretty sure I was pontificating, not asking. I’m a drawer of conclusions, not an asker of questions.
Most people just find my style to be scummy in general. I've gotten used to it at this point.

take the highest liability players who are not only hard to read, might lurk, might even seem overtly scummy ; and you resolve that asap

Christ, 6 different set-ups. Pretty devious. Anyway, reading where scum would be able to tell which set-up is in play based on the roles. But I don't think we get that lucky with eliminating mafia to get the same info. Doesn't really matter, I guess?
A fine example of why HB is on my list.

This response strikes me as fake as fuck.
