kgray hasnt fired up the turbines yet so too early to call town confidently. im seeing some things worth nodding too.

demonrhk maybe trying a bit hard here to make people laugh. curious why he chose the cast of characters he did for his brainbomb film. especially trying to normalize kpop as if I would ever birth something so low brow

chaqa coming in with his usual confusion on when the game begins. Im never convinced he isnt actually aware. the rest of his entry feels scattered.

damo has made a few posts so far which did very little for me. which is normal

dargorygel is unmistakably town here. He is in his turtle style of play where he slowly inches his way into a dialogue with witticisms and allows his innate towny paranoia to manifest itself naturally.

Huh? Mafia know which PRs are in the game already.
First thing I've read this game worthy of discussion.

So is this

A) a brainbomb townslip
B) scum brainbomb wanting it to seem like A
C) scum brainbomb not realising his own advantage?

None of these would surprise me. I'm going to assume A for the timebeing.
or D: hunting for a werewolf (who need to narrow down roles?)
I implied IF he began narrowing down PR he might BE the werewolf and we should kill him.
Thats not really hunting for werewolf is it?

I am aware people like to imply that third party hunting is an occupation scum like to preoccupy themself with. And I know from experience that it is a valid practice to try to nab all the PR and the 3p as scum.

What gives me pause and makes me nervous is how easily you defended me but failed to acknowledge that I wasn't hunting 3p. I made an off the cuff remark. pretty size-able difference in my opinion.

Which messages felt scummy? can you highlight a few

How does kgray have two votes before she has even posted?
Respect of a strong player in any alignment?
Do you think that ghug and food's votes are out of respect for kgray? Do you think it's a good idea to vote strong players without other suspicion?
This was a solid question. on the other hand when it comes to early game pressure, strength of the player is a pretty absurd reason to defend someone. I dont think anyone actually felt kgray was gonna be the day 1 elim today.

These concerns I felt as well when ghug first voted her. but I have voted kgray as town day 1, first vote. so its not all that stunning.

maybe foodcoats is opportunistic there. but thats all I see as far as odd

its hard to tell who is snappy and overly defensive when everyone is excited to play. People dont wanna die that fast.

celaph has been making a disproportionate amount of fluffy posts. Several players have been brought up as suspicious already for enthusiastic intros - myself, Macca, Maniac, yavu. But that’s largely fallen off in these cases. Celaph however seems to be stuck in theme/RP land which I can’t help but find to actually be suspicious.

##VOTE celaph
Interesting. Please elaborate more on how Maniac has moved away from suspicion since his opening post?

Also why do you think Macca's posts have been less fluffy than celaph's?
"Fallen off" was a bad way to describe it. They're lurking, so there's less data.

I think celaph is a terrible vote presently. everyones posts are in establishment phases; which you need. Gonna strongly disagree with your assessment fudcoots
This is true, brunboots, but part of establishing a baseline for the game and assisting town is poking and prodding. I don't like when people try to push players off of actively doing things; it seems scummy. Why are you doing this to me? It is similar to how worcej tried to excuse his laziness by claiming that D1 is boring, suggesting that town should not do anything because nothing happens.

Vote, ye scallywag!

Vecna entry is a bit simplistic and agreeable as opposed to scathing. I dont feel intimidated by vecna entry.

rivera entry feels oddly campy as well.
Could you tell me what you mean with "campy"?. I don't think I know this word and too lazy to check it at dictionary.

Looking at this thread, I think the most interesting thing is that dargo would ask why a player has two votes before they've even posted. The answer is actually "because webdipmafia." It's like, why is there sand in a desert?

I generally disagree on your assessment that darg is clearly town, braunschweigh... and this seemingly innocuous comment is a good example of why.

you are correct that darg asking why a non poster has 2 votes — is indeed odd even for him. I will return to Mt Olympus to consult with Dick Lord Dionysus

Hello fine town people and some evil bastards.

Tried to catch up last night but just felt asleep on page 2, seems Darg and Brain talking is good for insomnia. Will try again now.
So our posts were so sleep inducing that rather than skip two pages ahead to p3 you opted to stop reading

So a quick review of the setup says that there's always:
8 VT
1 Miller

And then all of the other roles on each side except, missing one of these pairs:
(1) Town Roleblocker / Janitor
(2) Inventor / Ninja
(3) Doctor / Goon
(4) Watcher / Driver
(5) Journalist / Godfather
(6) Cop / Stalker

So we can probably figure out the exact setup down the line, but we should wait until the Werewolf has been neutralized.
Helpful townChaqa or naughty scumChaqa pretending to be helpful?
Assuming town for now.
How was that helpful? lmao
I think Chaqa's post is helpful for lazy people like me, but nothing AI.

Two really weird posts by Damo until now.

I have often wondered why there is sand in a desert. Or in a dessert.

I found the (even just two) gangup on kgray questionable. I still do.
