Hey fox, what about the part of bona claiming his item was not stolen? How would he know? Didnt the gm confirm people dying were not informed if their item was stolen?

Thoughts on that statement? I believe you only got to ask a question and receive a basic answer right? Slightly more info?
I asked who he investigated and what the result was, and if there was anything else he wanted to tell town.

I believe ND's clarification was that (implicitly living) players were told their item was stolen at the start of the day, which I assume means as part of the EON process.

##CALL GM: Since the Item Thief operates prior to the NK in the order of operations, would a dead player be able to report whether their item was stolen to the shaman?
No.

I have posted the actual GM clarification from Dargorygel which very clearly stated that dead players are NOT told if their item was stolen from them on the night of their death.

So Foxcastle appears to be lying.
I am not lying. Bona may simply not have known the status of his item and therefor assumed it was not stolen.

Current reads:

Scum: Foxcastle and Maniac
Alien: Ghug or Damo
You're actually buying the rd crap and ignoring multiple days of spearheading the alien search?
The Alien is hardly likely to actually declare that they've found themselves. Making it look like you're searching for the Alien and just happening to get it wrong? Plausible.

So, the actual rules state that a player is notified if their item is stolen. Not "players who survive," but all players. So dargo's clarification is in conflict, and since my credibility is on the line, I'd like a GM clarification on my specific call.

Please note ghug and worcej conveniently voting for me.

These are almost certainly both scum.

Town have won.

Alien too far behind to win.

My job is done.
Why wouldn't I vote for you at this point?

I think you've been playing incredibly scummy and now have a confirmed scan on you as Alien DNA. You're in the pool of possible aliens.

@Jamie I know you had the best of intentions but I fear you finding me infected may have ironically handed alien the victory.

Please help to keep up the pressure on people to self vote.

And thanks for understanding my plan.

Perhaps in that case you might like to stop endvoting, so that the GM has time to come and answer your GM call?

scum know who alien is (presumably)

Town know it's definitely not rdr or Maniac and on the face of it not Fox, Vecna or Jamie.

Think on
We can assume Maniac is not alien only if we believe you. There is no cross verification that I know of to safely remove him at this point.

I think I understand it.

How can scum be certain of the identity of the Alien? Remind me of that part.

Right, but I whipped everyone into shape on needing to shift focus to the alien when it would have been pretty damn easy to keep focusing on the mafia and use my ignorance of the setup as an excuse to wait for others to figure out the urgency, which very well may not have happened. It'd be bad alien play. Dismounting that because I made a single mechanical mistake in a hastily constructed read list is absurd.

If damo's lying, he's the alien, so Maniac can't be.

Are you claiming that you kitted Maniac?
Yes, and nothing happened implying Maniac is neither alien nor infected
Ok, so Maniac is cleared of being alien, and he's either not infected or you're the alien.
This is where I land currently.

Fair callout on my typo - 'not infected' was the correct phrasing I should've used.

I really don't understand the objection from worcej gugh and Fox to my plan.

I have demonstrated that it is waterproof even if I am the alien.

I am now very much of the opinion that those 3 are the 3 scum.

One of you have to squeal.

I think there's no way you can guarantee that scum will decide to play along. You are basically telling them they have to significantly reduce their chances of winning in order to not lose, which is a pretty weak deal to try to "force" them to take. Why shouldn't they screw us?
