Re: Mafia 65: Dreamland II [Hidden]
i woulda placed damo more in the mafia camp but i could see this too i guess
Re: Mafia 65: Dreamland II [Hidden]
Answer #2 and #3 are bad. Like honestly, incredibly low effort.Bonatogether wrote: ↑Fri Mar 12, 2021 4:12 amcause i'm not playing greatBobMcBob wrote: ↑Fri Mar 12, 2021 4:09 amif that is the case, why are you not being widely townread?Bonatogether wrote: ↑Fri Mar 12, 2021 4:06 am
Everyone keeps bringing up option 2 so darn much. Everyone knows I did and would do that, so option 2 (doing literally the same damn thing) is a moronic idea. My towniness is literally so clear here
and why are you playing so anti-town?
and why do you have to employ the classic wifom defence of "oh it sure wouldnt work this time because i did it last time"?
cause i want to
cause i feel like it
Re: Mafia 65: Dreamland II [Hidden]
obviously?Jamiet99uk wrote: ↑Fri Mar 12, 2021 12:39 pmEMC was Vanilla Town. The GM missed his role out from the initial flip and them when someone did a "call GM", Dargorygel replied and told us that EMC was a Vanilla Town.Vecna wrote: ↑Fri Mar 12, 2021 12:23 pmIm just gonna do some "out of the loop" speculation here.
If EMC was modkilled due to talking about satphone shit, why did his alignment/role not flip? Theres no reason for it not to flip in case of a modkill.
UNLESS
Him flipping wouldve made others look really bad.
This feels like the gm's just tried to solve a bad situation for scum by having EMC flip janitored.
Now, I have no idea if my theory makes sense. I have no idea if the sat-phones/jailkeeper peeps can do anything with it.
But I do feel the need to point it out.
Like, EMC could be scum. The satphone people being all town. If he talked in the scum-chat, having him get modkilled and all satphone people confirm he didnt talk in that chat, would somewhat townclear them all -> ergo break the game -> ergo, GM's felt the need to flip EMC without a reveal.
I bet there is -something- like that going on here.
...or maybe im just thinking too much into it
But now you can all marvel at my town mindset.
maaarveeeel
Does this alter your theory?
Re: Mafia 65: Dreamland II [Hidden]
Yeah they were.Jamiet99uk wrote: ↑Fri Mar 12, 2021 12:53 pmVECNA: When you finish catching up please read my most recent 2 or 3 posts. Some of your theories are based on incorrect information.
Super convenient.
I was genuinely not aware of some shit. Wrote my catchups all resolving around those things and being ignorant to some things.
Now, good luck claiming I had a scumchat and I faked all of this stuff.
Jolly good

Re: Mafia 65: Dreamland II [Hidden]
Because I'm an easy target.
Scum is damo and possibly you and thamrick. sheep is possibly you, definitely bunny, and bob
Re: Mafia 65: Dreamland II [Hidden]
Pretty accurate assessment right here. Assuming Jamie was scum, the real AR would and should immediately.jasnah wrote: ↑Fri Mar 12, 2021 8:44 amI consider not cc'ing to be anti-town, not overwhelmingly so given the lack of protective role in this setup, but anti-town nonetheless.
Not cc'ing now and being allowed to cc later is a great way to give mafia late game claim space and run a large risk of DK'ing a town PR because our shits and giggles wanted to YOLO in on the prospect of another hidden PR.
Also, Jamie's only choice wasn't to claim AR, he could as easily have claimed to have been gently visited last night by Man in Black, which isn't particularly farfetched when he was one of the main accused yesterday.
If there's real AR and they aren't cc'ing, Jamie lives and gets to be semi-clear.
Quick glance at the bot's votes indicate a CC hasn't come, so it's safe to say (and the most likely case) that Jamie is the AR.

I do not care about how my meta looks.worcej wrote: ↑Fri Mar 12, 2021 4:32 pmFrom my perspective, your meta walks a very tight line around scum.Bonatogether wrote: ↑Fri Mar 12, 2021 4:03 amLast game was a fluke and it would never work again precisely because everyone brings it up when discussing my meta.BobMcBob wrote: ↑Fri Mar 12, 2021 3:58 ambona played a blatantly obnoxious scumgame last time
he was pretty widely townread before being scanned
i feel like he may be purposefully ignoring the obviously correct answers
he didnt back down last game as scum despite being told he was wrong and knowing he was wrong
as town id expect him to not so stubbornly stick to what he knows is wrong
Even as town, you come off inherently scummy. This is what makes you hard to read.
I know I look scummy. If I did not want to look scummy, I would not act scummy.
Re: Mafia 65: Dreamland II [Hidden]
Honestly, I'm more inclined to sheep Jamie at this point.damo666 wrote: ↑Fri Mar 12, 2021 10:54 amSo I am guessing EMC was questioned his Jailer and he somehow thought he discovered the Jailer's identity and revealed this on sat phone. This would explain both the mod kill and the deleted/proscribed messages.
This is consistent with jasnah saying she may have already said too much.
I realise this is sort of 'gaming' but the info is out there so what the hell.
WE SHOULD ALL SHEEP JASNAH.
Anybody not doing so should be viewed with suspicion.

God damn, jasnah. You're good.jasnah wrote: ↑Fri Mar 12, 2021 11:30 am@ Vecna It's a warm, fuzzy feeling. Like hot chocolate with a little too much sugar, or three people alliances with one too many person. That's what a headache feels like right?
@damo First of all, town should always sheep me. You're clearly smarter than I believed as you recognize this fundamental truth when so many still live in denial.
However, whether or not I have a reliable knowledge of who is MP, you still would have to consider whether you think I'm town, making you right, or you think I'm not town, making you wrong. If I'm not town I don't have much interest in booting out the real MP, unless either the MP is someone like Bona, and makes for a happy coincidence that I can remove them from the discussion, or I'm thinking of retaliation from other satellite phone holders (at least one of whom probably read the deleted comments, before they were deleted) if I disseminate falsehoods.
A long way of asking, damo my not friend, do you now think I'm town, or you think still I can likely be scum and willing to join my wagon in hopes I would bus teammate?
You're highlighting the exact reason why I am not 100% going to sheep you.

@worcej Thanks. Transparency is the cornerstone of functioning governance, you know, I don't like to do the fake nice 'hahah we both know what you just said is full of shit but Imma ignore it because that's more fun' thing that I know is so popular around these parts.
@Bona What in tarnation? Answer to my query and those of worcej, damo makes like negative sense, I went poking for reasons to support alternate wagon but this play is so weak that at this point your death is on your own hands.

I mean, my mindset it still the same.
Maybe it's the fact I am an American, but anything CLOSE to that word is a no-no.
