The problem with using it as a one-shot Cop is that it gives you a 50/50 trade of a Town PR for either a single Scum Guilty or Town Clear, and nothing more.

Damo's proposed question could provide the following results, among others:

1. In the best possible outcome, it could provide three townclears, which in a game of this size would be very powerful indeed for Town

2. Or, if the answer is "yes" that there is at least one scum in the given pool of three, this means that Scum effectively cannot kill the 1 or 2 townies in that pool, because if they do so, they will out their team-mate.
Would it be helpful for us to list which three WE would ask about, if we were the Questioner? Bozo would like that... he could make a chart.
The lovely thing is, in my opinion, we don't even need to do that. There are only 13 players and the Question Asker knows they are not scum, so they have to pick a pool of 3x players, from a potential pool of 12. Any pool of three is likely to provide useful results.

I would propose a slightly refined question, as follows:

IN THE POOL OF <PLAYER 1>, <PLAYER 2>, AND <PLAYER 3>, IS THE NUMBER OF MAFIA GREATER THAN ZERO BUT LESS THAN 3?

If there are 1 or 2 scum in that pool, the answer is YES
If there are 0 or 3 scum in that pool, the answer is NO

I would propose that the Question Asker inputs this question to the GM today (they can change it on a later date if required).
I think this is a minor improvement on damo's question, on the slight chance the Asker lists all 3 scum.

So what did BunnyGo do with the online status last game that was considered questionable? I changed my online status to hidden for the first time after reading Jamie's "Who is Online" thread.
Bringing up out-of-game drama is unusual for bozo. Or maybe this is just an awkward way to let everyone know he went invisible? Either way I don't like it.
I read the post game comments and you and ghug said something about not thinking what BunnyGo did was appropriate, and I did not know what you were referring to, other than something about the online status, but it seemed to be related to Jamie's suggestion to get rid of the "Who is Online" option.

He mentioned that celaph and Maniac were reading/writing PMs at EON, which implied they were PRs with orders to send to the GMs.

Reads are irrelevant as aparentlee is spooling.

Doesn't particularly matter who the questioner chooses as long as they ask the right question about the group(s) chosen.

Was baseball ever fun? I prefer watching curling then baseball.
Brazil famous for curling?
I don't think curling was ever played here in Brasil. I just thought on the second most boring game I can remember....
"The Brazilian Ice Sports Federation made curling history in August 2008 when they challenged the United States for a berth at the World Curling Championship."

Did that help identify them? It looks like both of their roles did have night actions.

Rivera is officially NOT my spokesperson this game. Curling isn't boring at all! It's silly and hilarious.
I never played curling (no ice here), it's probably funny as you say. But watching it at Winter Olympics is painfully boring (almost as boring as baseball).

This said, I always thought YOU was MY spokesperson and not the contrary.

No, the point is, using that approach on *any* group of three people yields useful info. You could pick the three of them at random and it would still be useful.

hmmm.... that's probably true. My question is TOO simple.

I agree damo's suggestion is better than using the Asker as a cop.

Another possibility is to divide the 12 remaining players into 2 groups of 6, and ask "are there more scum in group 1 than group 2". This could solve the game late in the game when 1 or 2 scum have been found and we are down to a few players. For instance, if we found 1 scum in the group with less scum, all remaining players in that group would be cleared.
This is quite a good idea too, Bozo.
I like this. Good work.

Maybe read my posts.
Ridiculous. You've yet to explain what you find scummy about brain's interaction with me.
You're so negative. You should try to receive all phenomena with equanimity.

To re-state what I said before, I didn't like the fact that Brainbomb voted you, and then, after that, said that he didn't have a solid scumread on you. At the same time, he kept his vote on you. That looked really sketchy to me, and I called it out. It's not much but it was page 3 or 4 of the game and not much else had happened worthy of comment.

I think you must have thought that I would nervously just move my vote as soon as she posted virtually anything. I saw no reason to move my vote at that time. yea there was nothing to scumread but there was equally nothing townread. you play that as soon as someone posts youll move your vote?
