Ireland will always be welcome to reunite with the rest of the United Kingdom. All they need do is ask. We are all one group of islands after all.
As far as the revival of fringe languages go, I am fully in favour of helping those who are enthusiastic about such things. Imposing it on the poor school kids of those areas seems unnecessarily cruel, though, and should be avoided.

I'm inclined to agree. Certainly not on terms we'd accept. If the EU starts to splinter it's feasible we might join a looser organisation that evolves from it, but that's about it.Jamiet99uk wrote: ↑Thu Feb 18, 2021 2:15 pmRight now I'm not even sure if they would let us back in.

Re: Independence Movements
Tex-exit has picked up some steam again now that Biden is President of the USA. California and Texas independence movements rotate based on who is occupying the White House.
In some rural counties are pushing for secession from thier more liberal state governments to join more conservative boarder states. I've read recently of a county in Oregon wanting to be part of Idaho, and a Colorado county trying to join Wyoming.

Isn't it a common function of school to impose certain cultural beliefs/ideologies/religions/knowledge on the poor students whether they like it or not?Octavious wrote: ↑Thu Feb 18, 2021 9:44 amToll-din

Re: Independence Movements
Like Jefferson in California, which is just plain stupid as the tax base needs the bay area as it includes some of California's poorest counties. It would likely be on of the poorest states if ever realized.Matticus13 wrote: ↑Thu Feb 18, 2021 4:21 pmTex-exit has picked up some steam again now that Biden is President of the USA.
