Doggett had been waiting outside Mulder's room for what seemed like hours.

A nurse went inside to speak to Mulder. He could see them both through the glass. Doggett caught himself admiring the nurse's powerful physique. He silently scolded himself.

Mulder was suddenly animated, pulling himself up. The nurse appeared to be attempting to persuade him to stay in bed.

The door swung open as a frantic Mulder, holding onto the medical stand holding his drip, using its wheels to help him hurry along, emerged.

"Dana's in labour, Doggett. I have to be there."

The nurse protested once more.

"Mister Mulder, you're not well", but clearly realised she wasn't going to stop him.

Doggett stood up. The nurse turned and gave him a forceful stare that was enough to make him sit back down.

"Agent Doggett, please. They might allow Mister Mulder in the delivery room but I'm gonna have to ask you to stay here."

She turned and followed Mulder down the corridor.

Doggett again found himself watching her.

Wait, what's that?

He was sure he could see the nurse take something from her pocket as she caught up with Mulder. Could it be?

"Fox! Behind you!"

Mulder turned around just as the "nurse" pulled a knife.

"Shit, that's no scalpel either!"

Yeah I think Ezio is more likely. And maybe he was fishing for the doc so they could use the strongman on them.
