I've strongly considered the possibility. Kgray seemed a little over the top in accusing HR with lines such as "if you're not scum you should never play again". It didn't seem to fit their character. I could see Kgray taking the hint hr was given.

If Celaph flips alien, I agree with maniac that Kgray looks significantly worse.

That said, I still think kgray is unlikely alien. A solid scan target though.

Don't have much to update since EoN2 reads, except I think emc is acting more like his normal towny self. Bunny... I don't know. Maybe he's town. I'm not at all impressed with Vecna so I guess he's in my scumpool by POE too. Maybe celaph buddied me but I really don't see why scum does what he did.

The light. It was painful. He murmured.

"DoCtOrRRRrrrr?"

It was a woman's voice, near his head. The sound of it reverberated and made him wince as his brain protested at the unwanted stimulus.

"ddddoccctttoorrrrr... Mister Mulder is waking up..."

He blinked, trying to cover his eyes with his hand as he struggled to open them. A shooting pain in his arm told him this was a bad idea.

A large man in a white coat was standing over him, wearing what was probably supposed to be a sympathetic smile. He spoke slowly, apparently trying to keep his words soft.

"Agent Mulder, we're glad you're awake. Don't worry, you're in a safe place. I am Doctor Spartacus."

The gently-spoken words still seemed impossibly loud, invading Mulder's brain like a hot lance, making his head throb. The doctor frowned. He whispered to the nurse.

"Your friend Agent Doggett is waiting to speak to you. But I think you need a little more rest. Here, now..."

The nurse was doing something next to him. He struggled to turn his head from side to side, looking around. One arm, the one that the 'mailman' had grabbed, was in a cast. He realised the other had an intravenous line inserted, as he felt the coolness of some liquid entering his vein.

He closed his eyes and soon fell back into a dreamless sleep.
