Do minimum posting requirements stay the same if the day is shortened through a hammer?
Usually not. And same for minimum voting requirements

why the hell would the jailor be trying to tie it
why the hell would the alien be trying to tie it

it just looks like HR doing a brainbomb impression
MAYBE HE WAS NOT TRYING TO TIE IT. MAYBE HE WAS ATTEMPTING TO SAVE SENATOR EZIO FROM THE GALLOWS AND WAS MASQUERADING HIS ACTIONS AS ATTEMPTING TO TIE THE VOTE.
He voted *for* Ezio to tie it while celaph was in the lead.

Not if there's a Mafia Doctor it isn't. Vig should not be shooting someone that the scum can troll-save
this is worth discussing. if HR really thinks bona was a threat why wouldnt he have jailed bona
I was never jailed or roleblocked
yea why wouldnt HR jail you if youre so dangerous. It looks like hes advising people not to shoot at you because itd be a waste

ALSO, SENATOR MANIAC COMPLETELY DISREGARDING ALL THE ACCUSERS CLAMORING FOR HIS HEAD, AND JUST RANDOMLY BABBLING ABOUT SENATOR GHUG AND MACCA IS NOT A GOOD LOOK.
Actually once you make it past the nightmare it is to read the all-caps rambling of a madman, Vecna is still making good, Vecna-like points.

I want people to explain why ghug & I were the only people trying to prevent a tie there. Everyone who was present had better come up with a good reason for sitting back and letting Bona pull that shit - The only reason it was close is because none of the rest of you shifted
So his motive for alleged jailing of ghug was because ghug was the only other person willing to try to prevent a tie. This seems like an incredibly phony baloney reason to use a jailing. HR would be more aggressive and purposeful with a jail action

I'm just a tad worried HR is jailer.

If we dk him and he is jailer it is akin to killing doc.
At this point, if this is the case, then we should take a page out of HR's own book and kill him just to teach him a lesson.

The only bright spot is he have both cards they were dealt.

And that this game's JOAT can't kill.
So it is a good thing town has one less kill role?
It's a good thing a Mafia Underdog can't get the scumteam an extra kill.
HR is sincere here. He is genuinely glad about this because he is Alien faction so discussing scum hunting for him is fun. He has his head fully invested in trying to catch mafia to look like hes hunting

The most probable scenario I guess is HR is alien prober who protected alien celaph.

It is very possible HR is not the alien prober, but just knows what the prober is doing. I see no reason to assume otherwise.

Also, the prober not targeting Damo last night was an obvious win for town. I have trouble squaring the circle that aliens wouldn’t target Damo for probing just to try and protect HR.

This is an excellent point. It's almost like HR's anger at people not breaking the tie was completely fabricated.

I really don't see how my mentioning of discarding the Mafia LRC remotely took the pressure off Bunny there. For most of the day I didn't really look favourably upon outing discards because I felt it just helped scum figure out who the strong PR's are likely to be and that all those Mafia Goon discard claims really told us absolutely fuck all of use. That changed after Bunny's claim because combined with Bozo's it meant we could rule out a significant number of unique Mafia roles: Godfather, Roleblocker, and Loud Role Cop. Given I find it highly unlikely anyone is willingly to pick the Mafia Compulsive Hider, we now had some good information that the (mafia) scumteam is probably pretty small and certainly pretty powerless - Or damo is right and multiple people are actually the role they discarded. Bunny's claim also meant that anyone who got RB'd would've known it was by town (though the JOAT death invalidates that).
Combine a few moments in game
As soon as bunny discarded the Mafia Roleblocker, HR knows that the only role left in his way is the Jailor. with only one roleblock claimed n1 and ifischl dead now all HR has to fear is a maf underdog. Once it became clear there wasnt any of these variables HR knows pretending to be jailor is available.

Step 1: bunny go claims roleblocker
Step 2: HR claims maf loud role cop
Step 3: ifischl flips joat
Step 4: ghug gets roleblocked
Step 5: HR publicly asks for clarity on Jailor and what the system msg would be
Step 6: HR knows he is free to claim Jailor d3 as long as no other roleblocks occur

Conclusion: HR is the Alien Prober who sought to find a window of opportunity to claim. There are likely 4 aliens and thus HR has admitted there is a scum that the aliens hope to find but cant.

Why do you think HR knows there's maf/serial killer if he's an alien and there are 4 aliens?

I don't know, Maniac sure used this time to emphasize how scummy he's been, so maybe we'll get something out of waiting after all.

I think they didnt do the N1 kill so theyve been hoping to catch the scum with their roleblock

Maybe HR was maf underdog and inherited JOAT and rb'd Macca and alien prober is not in play.

I could go either way but aliens probably wanted a scumteam or sk to do the murkin since theyre limited in that regard
