even better, a town governor should actively show they wasted the ability. Activate it on a person that wont be killed, claim it at daystart
What!!??

In what world is a PR actively wasting their power a good thing?

I assume these questions are directed at me?

I know because I read it, then replied, pulling it back to the top. A page or two later kgray made this post.
Yeah, I just went and reread it....

-Your first post of today, you respond to Ghug saying hi to you in real time
-Your second post, a minute later, you suddenly quote a post from Ghug that happened more than a day earlier
Your third post of today, again a minute later, you interact with a post I made in real time.

So.....in a time frame of three minutes, you respond to two "live posts" and that weird post from ghug (that was made 24h earlier or more) in between those posts.

Then two pages later, Kgray responds to that post in particular, and you have this reply that is once again meant to just show how clueless you are of scum nightkills.

This just feels like compelling evidence to me that the two of you are scum together. And that this was planned.
No.

I always respond to my posts at once.

When I catch up, I read the thread and pop open replies to things in new tabs. Then, once I've fully caught up, I write all my replies and send them at once. This ensures I don't ask questions that get answered 1 page later, or other things like that. It's something I've always done, in this game and my others. You can go check.
Hey Venca, if you're going to ignore everything else, could you at least please respond to this. It seems this is where you case on me starts, and I'd like you to (not do that, but also), take a look and think about your actions.

Havent had the time yet to go check if you actually do do that in all your games.

As for the governor, its an ability thats mainly useful for scum. Whenever someone that is daykilled gets saved by that ability, town will automatically assume scum saved that person. The person will get daykilled the next day and then town will scumhunt for the Governor. Much better to avoid that shit. If the governor/UB is town, thats the type of shit thats quite likely to lose town the game. The best possible outcome is the gov target is daykilled and town, while the second wagon is scum and we at least get a scum kill out of it, but thats depending on quite some random variables for a positive outcome.

And I know I just gave a roadmap to scum on how to appear towny for using that shit in a pro-town matter, but thats another issue.

If it's a town gov, should they use it on themselves? Does that get around any problems?

it should be used on someone unlikely to be killed so it cannot be construed as trying to save someone that could potentially be scum

@anyone else - thoughts?

anyways, instructing people to use shit in a certain way is not really that great regardless, its usually better if they use their own brains and have good reasoning for why they do things.

Sadly this doesnt always work out for town very well since people love to jump on shit and see scummy reasoning where that might not have been the intent

Anybody interested in a Seth wagon?

I find it highly suspicious that his activity has tailed off to virtual invisibility.
I was suspicious of him anyway and have now come to the conclusion that he is a valuable scum role who has been advised to fly under the radar to survive to endgame.

I was suspicious of his absence, but the hiding a good PR is another good point I hadn't thought of.

I'm glad the Macca case has collapsed. I thought it too elaborate.

Macca is not quite as town as Jamie, darg and Vecna but certainly the town side of null.

Did it?

I looked at the things he said, and scumread him harder.

See, this post I made:

I am not thrilled with Maniac's game going all the way to EoD. Others have said this, though. And I do not 'get' his game (although I am thinking that he is charting people's choices/reactions... but I don't see the strong value.) But his game DID cause me to think about seth.
It took until page 56 for him to do more than call people 'null.' He said there that folk were ‘on his radar.’ But we haven’t seen radar/sonar/star trek sensors at all so far.

I'm here. Still haven't been convinced on either wagon.
You must vote.

Who are your top scumreads?

Do you even have one?
All three of the top wagons have been on my radar. Can't decide whether flums reaction test was malicious or just a bad idea.

A few pages later in post 1354, he calls rdrivera ‘scummy.’ I cannot find any other reads that lead to anything but null, or at best, 'iffy,' or 'on his radar.'

This is not hedgy. This is not declaring anything, let alone declaring and backpedaling.

This is a game that feels a lot more like pure vanilla, yes? We have roles, but deducing them does not discover alignment. I think seth is scum who is trying to fly under the radar… even his own.

##VOTE SETH24C
This is really interesting to me.

This was over the time period I didn't see anything, so this is the first I hear of it.

It's a pretty strong case imo, and it just gets better.

Soon after this is posted, seth gets online, sees it, and this happens.

Bo is on my scumread list now because I also think he tried to townslip a couple pages back.
This happens as Maniac's game pushes people onto Bo_, and this satement just feels very forced.

Seth follows with other statements, but all of them seem sort of the same; they're all opinions that other people have recently had. I would be open to voting Seth tomorrow.

In fact, scratching my earlier opinion, Seth might even take the top spot of kgray.

I've really just read this page. I am not caught up *at all*. What am I missing? Ghug accused you of killing someone?
I don't buy this either, Bunny.

Ghug jokingly said that Kgray had killed Hamilton.

You know that Hamilton died due to being Modkilled. So he could not have been killed by Kgray. We know that you know that, because you commented on how you felt the GM's decision was "harsh" at the time. Now you are behaving as if you did not know this.
You're a lawyer. You must study philosophy. At the time I wrote that, I didn't know anything about how Hamilton died. Having been reminded of it, I do know.
What do you mean you didn't know?
You're saying you just completely forgot this information that you previously clearly knew, yes?

FH probably.

Tiny chance of DV if they didn't recruit but somehow doubt that.

Diarist is another possibility. And there are the tracker roles but they are not so valuable.
