Ok. I will answer this, but of course you'll have to take my word for this.

I protected you, Ghug, on N1. At EoD2, the GM (Donny) sent me a PM saying "You successfully protected Ghug".

I initially assumed this must mean that you had been targeted by the Mafia for a kill, and I had saved your life. This puzzled me because it would have meant the Mafia had two kills. I assumed there was some mechanic which allowed them to pay some of their credits to get a one off extra kill. I sent the GM a message asking for this to be clarified.

While I was waiting for the GMs to reply to this query, I assumed that you were guaranteed town, because the GM's message made me think you had been attacked.

A little later, DonnyGM replied to my query, and clarified that his first message was only meant to confirm that my action did not *fail*, i.e. I was not Roleblocked and did not collide with the other FH.

Hope that makes sense?

Woah !!! Getting said message doesn't mean there was an attempt on your protectee? This contradicts what you said earlier. If this is true you/we cannot know for sure you were Maniac's target can we?

The message I got at the end of N1 is not the same as the message I got at the end of N3.

Has Macca been town? What were they like then?

afaik, only in M59 which got scrapped early. I thought they seemed a lot more open and willing to give their opinions on things in that game than in M1015.

I think Macca's inconsistent thought process is really suspect because it's more than just confusion. But I do worry that Macca is too obvious, and that you're doing a better job of blending in. I also think that if you're scum again and just not buddying me this time, then this is about what I'd imagine you'd play like. I'm not really seeing other differences between your scumgame last time and how you're playing here.

His games were either a method of getting reactions or taking a survey to see what the general consensus was, and I have been scumread by a few vocal and/or respected people, so there was a chance.

I'm still not sure why some people are so convinced it was going to be me or seth, though. I did not come to that conclusion.

I suggested it was plausible, given his late vote on you and the constant desire for Seth to be a wagon. It's certainly enough that I would have been afraid to target him had I been scum with either of you.
