Why are you jumping straight to a scum doctor? Why couldnt it be a town doctor save? Why are you suddenly so sure that any target maniac wouldve chosen is scum as opposed to town?

The most likely outcome is that all targets that Maniac was considering killing were town, and scum were hoping for an easy double tap.

I think scum rd is more likely to think through what actually happened and try not to betray his knowledge of the situation, so assuming it was a scum doctor is town indicative.
