Really interesting that none of the candidates ended up voting for the two lead candidates as requested. My sense is that town engaged much more with this process than scum did knowing that a half-day EOD gives town info that scum would sooner it didn't have.

I'd be happy to target either Chaqa or Seth. I'm happy that either one could be scum.

recruit - white flag - vengefull - tracker/UB - 0 point role works though, as a general strategy. Not optimal, not what I think happened, but theres definitely possibilities.

If Maniac is scum, daykilling him is a 1:1 town to scum trade. We take that any day.

If Maniac is town, daykilling him could be two dead townies for no dead scum. That would essentially ruin town's chances of winning.

Town Maniac wouldn't do a risky play like this, would he?

Hi, I'm back. I see Maniac did some claiming. I'll not be throwing stones at his decision, as I was a similarly <adjective redacted> last game with my claim.

I'm leaning town!Maniac on this (scum would wait longer I think, but I don't know maniac well. Also it was somewhat clear he'd be pushed again today...I dunno, maybe it's a way to get to KiLo as scum...it'd be an interesting strategy planned early, but I don't think I or anyone else here would have the stones for it--unless he was the recruit...but that doesn't seem like anyone's top choice of recruit--no offense @maniac), and I'm starting to reconsider my EOD analysis pointing at dargo (hi dargo, glad you well), Maniac, Chaq, and Vecna.

If dargo is town then scum didn't need to jump there. The more likely place might be that ANY of the counterwagons to HR were scum (if none of them were scum during the day, then none of the analysis is worth anything?). Maybe it's the people adamantly on HR that whole time despite many people trying to coalesce around a not-HR wagon.

This would be Jamie and Seth.

I have previously townread Jamie, but maybe I need a closer look.

I have scum leaned Seth before. And this makes me definitely want another look.

I know the question is not for me, but will answer anyway as I also choose Bo over Kgray in this Maniac exercise.

I felt Kgray had some moments of anger/indignation that are hard to fake as town. We are being slaughtered and have no clue and there are people that just feel too comfortable in his reads and play. Bo, Ghug and Chaqa fits this description. Specially Chaqa, I don't get how you town read him.

I don't want to kill Bo today to be honest, but someone that voted HR yesterday and will change my vote later. Seth are another great candidate and Maniac first list probably hold some scum in it.

For those that use iPhones. There is a text replacement function that I’ve just activated. Settings > general > keyboard > text replacement. Every time I now type in the L word it auto replaces it to daykill. ‘L’ing becomes daykilling.

Not sure if people were aware of this.

I doubt Maniac will choose the top vote or publicise his target. He is not that daft. He is simply using these votes as a guide to help him choose the target. I'm pretty sure that's the case anyway. There is no scum motivation to do this (apart from derailing the thread or the slim hope of real vengeful outing themselves but this seems highly unlikely), I can see a town non-vengeful reason for this shenanigans but not revealing.

@Maniac: If you are town, why would you want to be daykilled? Surely it is much better to target your top scumread with your power, and not announce this, and have us leave you alive? That way, scum will be taking a huge risk if they NK you.

Clearly I don’t want to be Daykilled. I’d accepted that was a good possibility, thanks in part to you being wrong. If my death happens I want it to a least help town by taking scum with me and/or leaving town with another vote to analyse.

Bo_Sox has been remarkably absent for most of today, I notice.

I stand by what I said to Ghug. My townlean on Bo will turn into a scumlean if he does not start to solidify a few more reads. So far today he is failing to do that; indeed he has done a vanishing act after the first few hours of the phase.

Yes, I said that on D2. But her interaction with Ghug and Chaqa after this seems a lot more invested and towny to me.

Thanks for the tip. I imagine similar is possible on all desktops/laptops.
