Is there consensus that the hammering, had it worked, would have harmed mafia? If so, that fact alone makes me consider Jamie and Darg more town than not. That should clear that aspect of voting for either of them if that's the substantiate case.
Catching up on EOD. This theory is soooo backwards. Were I scum, I'd first ask the GM in private what the ruling would be. THEN I'd pretend in public to make a big deal out of screwing scum over in a way the GM wouldn't allow. And look, I "tried". I think EVERYTHING that was trying to break the game/harm scum is at best NAI, and is a slight scum tell. Jamie has GM'd games where I think I did things like this. I'm not sure who else here is.

Dargy saying "teacon is my favourite kill today" at the same time as moving his vote OFF Teacon while teacon was the lead wagon, and now Teacon trying to save Dargorygel, is bothering me.
Jamie bringing the truth....I shouldn't have peeked at how the day ended before reading it. Ruining the tension.

So, a bunch of brilliant town with probably some scum on it decided to kill HR because he was playing weirdly. Great.

I am pretty sure we can find some scum on HR wagon, maybe more then one. I will not vote tomorrow outside people on this wagon. And I am pretty sure I will be alive tomorrow before someone ask.

pretty sure darg is the FV.

sent a banana to damo.

his last post EoN mentioned damo, and had one parenthesis in it.

doesn't mean he's town, but that's why he was acting weird. He thought I claimed FV.

then he reversed his decision when I hardclaimed NOT fv
This is an interesting thought. Does him being a banana salesman (https://www.pressherald.com/2014/08/17/ ... ana-spiel/) make you think he's town?

I finally found the post you're referencing. Was hardly his last post EON (was over 8 hours to go and he made several after).

Have fun, damo.
(What is, 'normal?'
Herer's darg at the end of N1, with a crumb for FV

he scumread me because he thought I was also setting up a FV claim. backed off for "no reason" when I hardclaimed NOT fv.

now he's a patsy for a late-day push becaus ehe's not here.
Again, what about this says "town"?

##CALL GM - for those whose national clocks aren't based on insanely outdated principles, how is daylight savings going to affect the end of the night time?
Is that crap tomorrow? God I hate it...

It will move the deadline back another hour. It will still be 2:00 PM, but it will now be PDT right?

I would wager that rd is the only player in this game who doesn't live in such a backwards country.
Some states in our country aren't so backwards.

Friends, I am in the hospital overnight. I had a severe low blood sugar event while out doing yardwork. My wife came outside to check on me because I was texting her like I was drunk. (A low blood sugar tell for me.) I see that I texted here too with Goofy stuff. I will try to make sense of it in the morning. Not looking for health pity. Considering subbing out because I realize that this affects the game. I'll see what worcej wants. I am fine, though.
I am glad you are fine. I hope you have a quick recovery.

I just reread bo's day 2 in isolation. He posted 47 times. Here are all the concrete opinions he gives on people:
  • "Yep, HB is town. Happy day."
  • A series of very hedgey posts on Jamie (he says overexplaininess isn't scum indicative, and he says he doesn't feel forced and then points out a post that contradicts that, so I'll count it as something even if it's barely anything.)
  • "I was thinking similarly about Maniac. He joke-voted for Jamie, then joke-voted rdrivera 24 hours into the game, and then joke-voted me shortly thereafter. What I mean to say is that while some of us waited on our role PMs to really start taking things seriously, he waited for his role PM and then kept not taking things seriously. It was weird."
  • "On one hand, I'd expect town ghug to play better, less jumping at shadows and more focused on effective gameplay even if the answers aren't immediately apparent. On the other hand, I'd expect scum ghug to play better, controlling the narrative from a distance and allowing the town to manipulate one another with some subtle nudging in the direction he wants them to go. Here I see neither.

Ghug, are you town playing badly? I never thought I'd see the day."
  • "##VOTE Maniac"
  • "I am quite confident that HR is town, yes. Thank you for stating the obvious."
That's townreads on HB and HR, a scumread on Maniac, and hedged reads on me and Jamie. Everything else is asking people questions and then never drawing conclusions from them. Town bo would have more reads.

Hi Maniac.

How would you say your philosophy on the game has changed post-hiatus?

@Dargorygel - get well soonest. This is only a game, play if you enjoy it but we’ll all understand if you need time away.

Hi Ghug - my overall outlook hasn’t changed, I’m here for fun times. I think I used to trawl though every post and analyse every dot and comma before hoping to be the town hero that would catch those pesky scum. Now I’m more relaxed, skim read more. The whole game seems to have changed somewhat. People are less aggressive than I remember. No one does read lists. Think I preferred the old forum where people would select small snippets rather than quoting blocks of text. Things were better in my day 😂

Do you think your game has advanced over the last 40 odd games?

I'm back from a lengthy hiatus too. I'm trying to find a way to get scumread without being an asshole to everyone (ideally just to bo, who deserves it, but I'm not perfect), and I'm trying to find the right balance of letting others lead kills early so that I can watch while still protecting people I don't think should be killed and giving in to the urge to lead when it's actually appropriate.

I got my scum mojo back after failing hopelessly in one game, so I'm hoping for the same with my town game, but no luck so far.

Hey people.

Sorry about my recent inactivity, I've just finished up exam block and I'm dead tired.

Things should be better now, so here's to the future!

Hi darg, if you are fine and happy to play on don't sub. After all this post made sense. Whatever you think best of course. Best wishes.

Of the HR voters I townread Jamie darg and Vecna. I think there are probably at least 2 scum in the remainder, Chaqa, Seth, HB, Maniac.

I am not so sure about Vecna. I don't expect town Vecna to vote HR this way. Any half decent town player wasn't voting for HR. On the other side, getting a misskill on HR is too much of an opportunity for scum Vecna to pass.
