I was not saying you were voting HR.
Replace "Maniac" with "ghug"
In my phone on a tractor. Sigh
Ghug is hopping all over. I doubt somewhat the "show theory" but mostly because I am town reading bo.

So, give me a good reason to vote Maniac. I don't like HR wagon, the people on it are scummy one way or another.

I feel like you're saying, "Don't do it just because it can be done." Is that what you're saying? I think I'd agree, and it doesn't look all that well on Maniac for even suggesting it. We don't want obvious mis-kills. We need the mafia killed.rdrivera2005 wrote: ↑Sat Oct 31, 2020 7:26 pm
And I don't fully agree with this reasoning, policy lynches could be a great way for scum to hide and get a misskill.

kgray... Isn't even scumreading me?dargorygel wrote: ↑Sat Oct 31, 2020 7:13 pmI can relate.
Jamie"s reaction to being one of the wagons us to work on his PhD. That looks townie to me. I could vote for teacon again, or Maniac or HR. (Bozo too, but it for "replacement logic" and omgus.) Sheeping kgray(I like her cases) though, and going to HR. He and Maniac are at the same radar level.
##vote Hellenic Riot
Now who will jump?

Re: M61 - The Mastermind's Revenge - Game Thread
Exactly. Do it if enough people scumread and vote me in a regular voting, not as a policy. Because then people can be held accountable when I flip.Hamilton Brian wrote: ↑Sat Oct 31, 2020 7:28 pmI feel like you're saying, "Don't do it just because it can be done." Re: M61 - The Mastermind's Revenge - Game Thread
That might be enough for me to hop from HR to Maniac, but people have been pushing out hopped-up mechanical/theory plays all game and not getting punished for it. Well, maybe Flum.
Re: M61 - The Mastermind's Revenge - Game Thread
Idk if it is. It feels like you're sheeping him, but you're not sheeping him. So either you're hedging about why you're following the townclear's vote, or you really are against sheeping townclears, but see the same thing flum does.ghug wrote: ↑Sat Oct 31, 2020 7:22 pmWhat's the inconsistency here?
What's jamie's tell? let's consider that.
Re: M61 - The Mastermind's Revenge - Game Thread
That was D1, before and after the doublevoter got his/her power. But then we learned that the double vote doesn't show up until the EoD, so it doesn't matter.Hamilton Brian wrote: ↑Sat Oct 31, 2020 7:26 pm@Dargorygel, you were on to something about getting players to leave a vote. It does imply that darg doesn't know who the doublevoter is.

fair enough rdriv.rdrivera2005 wrote: ↑Sat Oct 31, 2020 7:26 pmI don't think this is what Maniac meant. I will never be NKed with so many PRs around and at some point it will probably makes sense to DK me instead of a more valuable PR if we both are in the block. He even said that it's valid unless I obvtowned so hard that this isn't needed.teacon7 wrote: ↑Sat Oct 31, 2020 7:15 pmIt's a meta thing, not a role thing. the logic goes like this:Hamilton Brian wrote: ↑Sat Oct 31, 2020 7:07 pmI don't understand why, given the role RDR has, it dooms them to be Dkilled. Maniac alluded to it being a "team" thing for RDR to expect.
Why?
rdriv has demonstrate that he is a good player.
if he's town, he tends to get NK'd because scum fears him.
if he doesn't get NK'd, there's a nagging suspicion that this is because scum to not NK their own.
It's a tough place to be, because it means he's the target of fearkills from town or from scum. You don't have to agree with the assessment of rdriv, or the logic, to agree that some people do think this way.
And I don't fully agree with this reasoning, policy lynches could be a great way for scum to hide and get a misskill.
I've love to see more from you right now. let's see some more from you.
If you were gladiator and had to activate right now, who would you pick?

Re: M61 - The Mastermind's Revenge - Game Thread
My scumread on Maniac is based on the fact that I don't like his explanations for a lot of his reads/votes and he's been consistently avoiding answering questions directed at him. The "we have to policy kill Rivera" stance is not something I understand or agree with, and the thing about voting for Jamie because of a "scumslip" was so, so terrible. He didn't bother going back to rethink things after it was pointed out that he misinterpreted what was happening, which is the worst part imo.rdrivera2005 wrote: ↑Sat Oct 31, 2020 7:28 pmSo, give me a good reason to vote Maniac. I think he's referring to his earlier theory that ghug and bo are scum putting on a show.teacon7 wrote: ↑Sat Oct 31, 2020 7:38 pmwith apologies, your post makes no sense to me. What's the "show theory" ?dargorygel wrote: ↑Sat Oct 31, 2020 7:28 pmI was not saying you were voting HR.

Re: M61 - The Mastermind's Revenge - Game Thread
Speaking of Flum, the vote record runs like this.
1st vote was from kgray, but I think it was part joke, part placeholder.
Ghug next, from Jamie to Flum.
Jamie from Ghug to Flum.
Ghug then went from Flum back to Jamie.
Jamie pulled the vote off at 22:47.
Kgray went from Flum to Teacon.
Bunny gets on Flum with 7 hours left.
Jamie from Chaqa to Flum with 6:15 to go.
Dargorygel from Chaqa to Flum with 6:02 left.
Damo to Flum to make it 4 Flum with 5:16 left.
I pop in with 34 minutes to go, put a vote on Jamie, to make it a 4-4 tie.
Kgray from Teacon to Flum with 9 minutes remaining (breaks the tie)
Seth to FLum with 6 minutes remaining. First and only vote for Seth...(ensures the tie is broken)
Maniac from Bo to Flum with 4 minutes
Teacon from RDR to Flum with 3 minutes.
With 2 minutes to go, Flum claims. I am not sure what was happening that caused players to miss it...was there a discrepancy between end of day and real time? In any case, no one moved. Wait, there is a 2 or 3 minute delay with the bot, right?
I'll go back and re-read because I am sure you have mentioned it, but @Teacon and @Maniac, why'd you feel the need to hop on to the Flum Wagon when it was already 6 to whatever?

Re: M61 - The Mastermind's Revenge - Game Thread
This is exactly what I was coming to post. This may be my last chance to check in before EOD. For now I’m happy on darg. Come join.rdrivera2005 wrote: ↑Sat Oct 31, 2020 7:28 pmSo, give me a good reason to vote Maniac. I don't like HR wagon, the people on it are scummy one way or another.
I think Jamie is town. I think the HR wagon is scummy. I don’t have a good idea what the maniac vote is about. But if I had to pick those 3, I’d pick maniac. I’d rather people join me.

"The show" refers to the dialogue between bo and ghug that appeared faked.teacon7 wrote: ↑Sat Oct 31, 2020 7:38 pmwith apologies, your post makes no sense to me. What's the "show theory" ?dargorygel wrote: ↑Sat Oct 31, 2020 7:28 pmI was not saying you were voting HR.

Re: M61 - The Mastermind's Revenge - Game Thread
Just saw some recent posts about why people are voting maniac. It’s ok. I’d still rather Maniac and Darg be the wagons. See you later.
