Re: M61 - The Mastermind's Revenge - Game Thread
Well, of the people who responded, the fact that rdrivera came in to agree with my reasons for suspecting kgray, when I hadn't actually given any reasons was a pretty bizarre one. On the other hand, I don't know why scum rdrivera would defend me when I became an easy target, but perhaps he was quite content to let you do your usual tunnelling thing and it end up being you vs me.
kgray seemed to go out of her way to not engage with my vote, which given it was on her, was also pretty strange. Given the buddy-buddy relationship we had last game in the QT's, I would have expected her to be more perturbed by my vote than that. Apparently not, though.
Meanwhile, I've watched you slowly wind yourself up to a strong state of aggression while I wasn't doing anything at all, and then decide that it's me being the prick causing it. It's been quite entertaining, and at least eases my conscience that my past cases of tunnelling have been responsible for the shitshow they ended up causing with you - Clearly I merely have to breathe to trigger such behaviour.
Now, earlier in the day you were suspicious of kgray yourself - Something which you abandoned when you decided to tunnel into me, and announce that you wouldn't vote a wagon I'm on no matter what (which, given my absence, seems like an excellent way to avoid ever voting kgray despite apparently scumreading her). Why was that?

I wasn't perturbed. I wanted to know why, but didn't see the point in asking you about it since you didn't respond to others who had already questioned it, and I'm sure me chiming in wouldn't have gotten you to explain sooner.Hellenic Riot wrote: ↑Sat Oct 31, 2020 6:15 pm

@Rdrivera would you care to comment? Why did you agree with a case HR had not made?
I'm not sure I would agree with that view of events. kgray wrote: ↑Sat Oct 31, 2020 3:43 pmBesides the obvious "HR is town because he would never do this as scum" argument, I mostly agree with you. But also why would town!HR not push a case on his scumread?rdrivera2005 wrote: ↑Sat Oct 31, 2020 3:10 pmYes, he is being obnoxious and not helpful. But the point is motivation. Why scum HR, that is really great at faking reads, would avoid a simple question and attract all this attention?
I wouldn't say that repeatedly mentioning the fact you hadn't explained a scumread on her is the same as "going out of her way" to avoid the issue.
You have always been distracted by your own ego, but I assure you that I would be annoyed by anyone acting the way you have acted. Because Kgray answered my questions (though on one point I had to repeat myself), engaged with the discussion, and has been very active and questioning in her own right, especially as the day has gone on. Whereas, on the other hand, until the last few pages you were being evasive and wilfully unhelpful, effectively taunting me and blowing raspberries when I was quite reasonably pressing you for an answer. I felt like your absence was a ploy, rather than a legitimate absence due to being too busy, and you've now basically admitted that.Hellenic Riot wrote: ↑Sat Oct 31, 2020 6:15 pmNow, earlier in the day you were suspicious of kgray yourself - Something which you abandoned when you decided to tunnel into me, and announce that you wouldn't vote a wagon I'm on no matter what (which, given my absence, seems like an excellent way to avoid ever voting kgray despite apparently scumreading her). Well, now that the HR wagon will probably fizzle out, probably good to let that one ride out and develop something else.
My scum reads are crap right now. Could sheep Vecna, what with all the catching up they did earlier on today, but I'm not entirely sold on their process. Even they reconsidered votes.

Why do you think it will fizzle out? Jamie doesn't seem to be moved by HR's explanation, and he's the biggest pusher of HR.Hamilton Brian wrote: ↑Sat Oct 31, 2020 6:32 pmWell, now that the HR wagon will probably fizzle out, probably good to let that one ride out and develop something else.

Do you still think HR is scum? The size of his wagon shouldn't matter much for that.
Why Vecna, especially if you're not sold on his process? Do you think he's town?

Very sketchy of Rdrivera trying to re-write history here and claiming he never said he agreed with HR's concerns on Kgray, when you can see that's exactly what he said.

What about this post by Ghug makes you change your mind about me? He doesn't give a reason for going back to voting me. Is Rdrivera your supplier? You both seem to be smoking the same stuff.
