Yall scumreading HR for being himself are kinda weird.
He's being a prick.

You are the Universal Backup. You will assume the powers of the first person to be eliminated. If the person did not have powers, your ability does not trigger. If the role had charges, you gain the same amount of charges as the player had when they were eliminated. If the role had no charges when they were eliminated, you do not gain their role.

No explanation for why Jamie looks worse, no reason to infer that one of Jamie or Flum had to be scum. Seems like he was trying to set Jamie up for the next kill.
I get that scum might try to set up miskills that way, but is that really something that is done 20 minutes before EoD?
Why not? It was pretty clearly going to be one of the two of them, and it would let scum!Chaqa establish a scumread for the next day.
I'm not saying it wouldn't be a good idea, I'm wondering what players we know of would have the presence of mind and foresight to imbue their will for the future that concisely into such short text, under the pressure of 20 minutes to EoD.

Well, after yesterday, I decided that putting a banker vote in to make sure I didn't miss another EoD would be sensible play.

Why did you choose Kgray if you don't scumread her, instead of someone else?

Does this mean you had no scumreads at all when you cast that vote? Why do you have no scumreads?

Why would you not answer this question earlier, despite being asked more than once, and despite having posted after the question was asked?

@ghug - Do you even think bo is mafia-aligned this game? Or is that antipathy just part of RL and breaking into the game?
I get what you're saying about damo and jamie. Why do you scumread darg?
I think there's antipathy in any bo. This bo seems like only antipathy, gender scum.

Darg is uncomfortable when he's scum. I get that discomfort here.
Where do you see discomfort? I get the feeling that he doesn't really have a filter, which I see as townie.

Ah. Well I guess presence of mind and foresight aren't exactly the first words that come to mind when I think of Chaqa... But he has played a lot, so I'm not sure.

Let me elucidate for you

Everybody wants to be a ca-

I didn't have any strong scumreads, but I notably was not getting the massive townvibes I got from kgray last game (when I was so convinced she was town after just one day that I gave her the bomb N1). I decided to therefore stick a vote on her and see what happened. Now, the longer that I left said vote up, the more it would draw attention to it and therefore become more of a topic of conversation, so I was quite content to sit around for the maximal time feasible before actually deciding to engage on it.

I see, the stock "it was some kind of reaction test" answer. Noted.

So you wanted to see what happened. What do you now conclude, on observing the things which have happened?

I've never been so tempted to sheep a clear.
I understand your feeling. What the 4 Jamiet votes mean, I don't remember your codes.
@ rdrivera - This is what he is responding to:

@@Flum. My scumread of Jamie is waning. Please rate your confidence in his scumtell being legit on a scale of 1 (you were making it up) - 5 (you'd consider making a pizza bet if it weren't immoral) by voting him that number of times consecutively.
That's a townclear's reccommend. flum says he will sheep ghug, but ghug ends up following flum's reccommend. As does maniac. I'm not saying either of them are sheeping the townclear, but... they are voting with the townclear's reccommendation. Maniac's main reasoning: (because of jamie saying "mis-kill" sounds like nitpicking on a "scumslip,") is... silly. He is correct that we get info from a jamie lynch, BUT only if jamie flips scum.

@maniac - what do we get if jamie flips town?
I'm very against sheeping townclears as a rule. I'm torn here because I tend to trust Flum's ability to find tells, and I found it compelling support for my tunnel, but I also don't want to be like "sheep the townclear", and Jamie's been less scummy today.

I re-read ghug. I was looking for evidence of buddying. Didn't find any.
Just telling people to sheep him, which seems like... ennh normal enough.

The worst thing really was this:

Get off Flum guys he's the spirit.
That read like: "no...stop.... wait..."
meh.

This little philosophical gem bears futher inquiry into the nature of our mortality:

Based on his askign not to be recruited, I'd guess that his alignment hasn't shifted over the course of the game. He either started scum and stated that way, or started town and stayed that way. Unlikely that he was the recruit though.

I don't like doing things that are inconclusive, but c'est la vie.

Because ghug makes it personal and blames me for every big or small problem that exists in this universe, whereas HR is just generally being obtuse.

Of course I have, I've even responded to them. But it was the post that dargo made. It does seem against the "spirit" of the role.
The GMs have been here and not objected. Donny said he could vote multiple times as long as he used the real vote format.

To my mind, they could have made it like the double voter and explicitly didn't.

##vote maniac

His reply to me was as smooth as butter, too smooth, and more or less doubling down on the "info elimination line." dislike. I might even vote jamie, but I don't want to do it just for info.

Gonna have to read more.

What's the main case on jamie that isn't info related?
