Teacon's last messages remembered me of that game he and Xorxes fight all over the game and both were town. I don't want to go this way.

I will change to
##vote Seth - He is coasting.
I know you’ve had bad work day, but do you accept that you role has doomed you to an early death? That being the case you can put all your game effort into a few days and your reads and thoughts will be useful to us later.

Please work extra hard for a few days so I don’t have to.
I agree that my role probably doomed me to be daykilled at some point, specially because between me and someone that claim an usefull role, voting me is the right choice.
But I don't see why it should be so early, we should scum hunt and get info instead of policy lynch a role. If you scum read me, vote me. Otherwise, this just seem a way to guarantee a myskill without effort or risk.

Bananas are the devils fruit. This could be a scum slip
More important question, what isn't the devil's fruit?

Have you noticed that Flum isn't apparently making any attempts at communicating in code, either in the fashion you've suggested, or in Ghug's way? Could it be that the GM has told him that such things are not allowed?
I have noticed. I figure he's busy and not reading the thread.

##callGM - can vecna vote multiple times during the day?
Why would Vecna's ability to vote be restricted in any way?

What is this question?

I agree that flum is generally a good player. But the fact that he is now dead does not mean he was MORE right than he was while he was alive.

(I am also pretty sure that communicating through his votes, while fun, is not within the Spirit of his role. Especially when he breaks the actual letter of law with his role by posting during the night. That is similar to deadposting.) (All puns intended.)

@maniac
I am confused about your comments about my teacon vs ghug/bo line of thought. I have not given up on evaluating the ghug/bo show. I posted it though, as I wrote, as a tin foil hat theory.

You saw it too, though, and maybe others did. Other than that odd show, I am not scumreading bo, and only barely sus of ghug. IF I were scumming with them, why would I bring it up in the first place?

(by the way, everyone... don't forget to watch the show. It continues.)

I am concerned about Kgray continuing to push the "Jamie is unreasonably convinced that Ghug is town" line of questioning / argument:

kgray wrote:

I hope you're being pretend accepting of this view for the purposes of questioning rather than actually buying it, because that would be dumb, and faux acceptance is just scummy.
I am trying to understand why Jamie is so sure that you're town even though he claims you are telling lies. That is very unlike the Jamie I know.
Even after I gave Kgray this explanation:
Jamiet99uk wrote:

kgray wrote:

Why do you townread ghug? What has he done that's townie enough to make up for the bad reasons he's given for scumreading you?
First of all, just because someone has an inaccurate or poorly-argued scumread on me, that doesn't make them scum, it makes them wrong. Townies are often wrong.

Second of all, I think that town Ghug is more likely to tunnel someone based on loose instinct, and I am not sure that scum Ghug would be acting this way.

I did have a stronger reason which temporarily made me almost completely certain, but I've established I can't be sure of that - and I'm not able to elaborate on that point right now. But, my gut is still telling me Ghug is town. I could be wrong...
Emphasis added.

It's as if Kgray is more interested in seeing something scummy in my interactions with Ghug, than in properly assessing my answers to these questions.

That is very unlike the Kgray I know.

Ghug IS pretty tunnelly... but I am not sure that is AI.
I was not roleblocked. Nor was i nightkilled.
@teacon... way back you and I had an interaction about the Princess Bride. It seems to me that you were already thinking way back then about possible crumbs. I can not see how a townie would be rationally concerned about crumbs back then. But I can see how scum would. Particularly because scum know which PRs to look for. Care to comment?
Sure. I was riffing off of the quote because I love the movie a great deal. Fezzik was at one point unemployed in greenland, then he ends up working for vicini of "wifom" fame, and then he worked on the fruit squad (or brute squad). In general I do look for crumbs (regardless of alignment) because I don't want to end up accidentially eliminating an important town role (like DKing the town doc because they were lurky and off meta, and I missed a clue). This time around I haven't really been looking for crumbs - idk if we even had our roles at that point, or how much point there would be to crumbing. Roles are somewhat tied to alignment in this setup, but not 100% like usual.

By the way, you'd make a wonderful dread pirate roberts.
Thanks, teacon.
For a moment I disliked your 'riffing' vocab, thinking you were saying that YOU quoted PB first. Which might have been a further scum-mark. But I think you mean that you responded to the movie quote. So fair enough.

But the timing of your riff is still what concerns me. It was 40 minutes before the GM's announcements of roles. But if you are scum, you would know the roles to look for. I would not have known my role, but maybe... just maybe... you were just coming out from your scum-zoom meeting realizing that y'all needed to be sharp readers for crumbs... and responded to my comment in that light.

It is not that you thought that i was crumbing. But you were in crumb-search mode.

But again, fair enough... (for now, mwah ha ha HA ha)

##VOTE CHAQA
Welcome back, Jamie...

Why chaqa? I was just wondering where to move my vote off from teacon, and was thinking about chaqa.

It's a small thing... but I keep thinking about his notebook. Still no notes. And i find that stated intentions unfulfilled CAN be a scumtell.

Chaqa is often useless in the first phase, and this D1 he even stated his intention to do nothing for the first 24 hours, which you may remember I argued with him about. He then posted once last night, which was no more than a threat to vote for me today.

So I say bring it on, Chaqa. I want to see him participate today. If I'm his top scumread I want him to push me. If he thinks Flum's flip confirms that I'm scum, as he implied, I want to know why.

What I see, based on D1, (especially but not exclusively EoD1) and N1 is a Chaqa who will be quite happy to sit back, let Ghug or someone else push a wagon on me, and then join it. I'm not going to settle for that. I want Chaqa to put in some work.

I also want to know why Teacon can't tell the difference between Fluminator and Vecna. Their names don't even sound remotely alike.

@maniac
So talk to me about ghug. He was, you wrote, an early scum read of yours. And you were disappointed that i didn't vote him instead of teacon. What do YOU see in ghug?
For me, in addition to the show, I see that he is actually lurking. Take away the haiku (which we shouldn't really do... there probably IS some info in the poems as well as the heart-wrenching beauty) and the potential show (which still might be a show even if bo is NOT scum with him. My problem with the display is that it never moves anywhere... it is like two four-year-olds arguing , "uh huh," "unh uh" for hours. It does seem to me that bo does more new argument presentation than ghug. I wonder if ghug is just stirring all the pots he can.

I noticed that, too. The conspiracy theory part of my soul made me wonder if teacon had been writing a lot to vecna in the QT, and it just slipped out of his fingertips.

Look at his back and forth hedging on me and Flum yesterday too. It just zings out at you when you bring up his iso.

Kindly (or not kindly) give some reason for your kgray vote. I do not see where you mention them in a post, or where stuff was mentioned immediately before your vote.

Hmmm... He does flip a bit. More concerning to me is that he seems to leave a lot of things on the table. (questions to bozo, flum, bo, even you) which cold be scumhopping or lazy non-focused chaqa as scum OR town.

It's worse than that, Dargorygel. HR actually responded to a post from Bamilton, asking him to explain his Kgray vote, and he implicitly refused to do so.

That is pretty blatant for HR to be scum, though, right? Unless he is being TStbS.

Nevertheless, I'd really like to hear his reasons. Really.
