Interesting, I'd expect the opposite - that scum would be more likely to distance themselves from their teammates with meaningless votes that they can easily change before it really matters.
Yeah this doesn’t seem likely to have indicated anything either way to me. I think last game was a pretty good example that getting *too* much into the vca can lead down a slick slope since town can easily vote themselves into positions that look suspicious. With nothing at stake it would be even worse imo.

Lying about them defeats the point: The whole point is for it to always be true so that you can always clear yourself as town. Once established you may get a one-shot lie later on as scum, but you lose your honest meta then. And they generally avoid the point or find an excuse to get out of it as scum, but yes, they deliberately hamstring their scumplay to benefit their townplay. Which is why it's banned in most sensible places.
This is the only thing I remember seeing hr talk about so far.

Uh I’m just glad I didn’t have to choose. Looks like the extra recruit is an obvious choice and that takes most of the budget. Other than that it’s probably keep away from town more than anything. Does scum gain money as the game goes on? How do they get out of the negative if they were to go negative?

Restless spirit
Odd-Night Tracker
Fruit vendor (the give the maf money? I think I read that somewhere?)
Double voter (provided the vote works more than once)

Frankly, the biggest reason is a don't like roles with limited uses, I'd be scared to use them until it's too late.

Important note, I did not do the math for this, I don't know how much debt it is, it may be bad.
This almost feels like overplaying the “didn't think about it” card.

Those who've played with Macca, is he crafty enough to fake this townslip?
Macca uses they/them pronouns, and if we hadn't been talking about the number of people on the scumteam then I'd say no, and they're certainly town, but since it's been in discussion I suppose there's a *slight* chance it's fake.
Lol I didn’t notice this at first either but I don’t think it could be classified as a strong townslip. It would be way too easy to fake, or even do accidentally as scum.

Ok. Well as others are pointing out, I'd recruit yet another scum because with a five strong scumteam in a game this size we'd be pretty overpowering. I'd also take the Public Vanilla and the Restless Spirit (to maintain voting power) and otherwise let the dice fall where they may.

I think we should massclaim and speedkill the treestump.
I haven't read all the roles super closely yet but some we could lump together a specific number as "important" and some could claim that so we don't give away our precise good ones.
