But to give you a semi-serious reply Seth...when I “don’t play” I get flamed for “not contributing”...when I do have the time to sit down and play I get told some version of “you’re dumb” or “you’re bad”...so my motivation to explain my reads and engage people is very low rn. It’s nothing particularly personal this just isn’t the kind of game/environment that I enjoy, so my drive to push this game in a direction I think it should go really isn’t there. I’ll continue giving my reads, I’ll engage when I have time/people are asking good faith questions (i.e., not “why are you useless” type ones), but 25-30 posts a day in two bursts and an attempt to make whatever EODs I can is probably just what you’re getting from me at this point

I refer to my previous comments about requesting a sub based on the underlined portion.

If you're honestly not enjoying yourself and don't have the motivation to play, then that is what you should do.

The fact that people off the summit wagon (and off the relevant summit wagon IIRC) keep dying means he was very likely bussed, or at least scum mostly weren’t trying to save him. Not sure who makes sense as bussers there but I’d say at least two on summit when it was still close probably

Yeah, that's true. If flash is town it doesn't mean much. But even if Vecna's reads were 100% backwards I agree that scum would rather take the opportunity to daykill him than flash.

Do you think summit claimed D1 to a reveal a PR knowing a scum was going to be the DK, or do you think Maniac is the traitor?

I think that even before Chaqa cc'd summit it was likely that nobody would believe his claim and summit would still be the kill. I don't think summit thought it would save himself (especially if he was counting on the cc), and I think he just wanted to expose a PR on his way out, so I see a world where he didn't think scum!Maniac was in danger of dying and still claimed.

But I suppose Maniac being the traitor does make more sense than non-traitor scum because it still would have been risky for summit to try that fake claim if he knew his counter wagon was his teammate, and I don't think summit wanted to endanger his team....

So I don't know.

It is not typical for a PR to CC immediately like that, I think summit probably thought there was a chance he could avoid the D1 DK by claiming, and force a PR to CC to get him DKed D2. If he knew Maniac was scum, this would result in 2 scum DKs.

Bozo's analysis is pretty spot on why I think Maniac is town.

IMHO - Summit would not risk screwing his team up more.
